How very astute of you to recognize what Eastwood was doing while legions of "journalists" and "historians" missed it completely and attributed this masterful presentation to ramblings of a demented senior.

That went over my head...which is exploding this morning because I've been watching CNN to get their take. They are pathetic.

Soledad had Christine O'Donnell!!!! on and Christine ate her lunch. SOB kept saying that COD called Obama a communist.

SOB is really stupid!

You know, I missed it. I’d heard the Harvey referrence, but completely forgot Mr. Stewart the angle when I was wincing while watching Clint stumble and stutter.

Now it makes perfect sense. He was playing Mr. Stewart; WWII bomber pilot and Airforce Reserve General, and all around patriot and conservative.
