I have to confess, that I too was a little down and upset last night over Mr. Eastwood. But now I realize the purpose in bringing him on stage and letting him be Clint. He stuck a knife down the black messiah’s back...brilliant move. No really. I was so nervous for Romney last night because I knew the stakes were extremely high a make or break night for Mitt.I wanted no distractions from his message, but I'm beginning to see the sense behind Mr. Eastwood's invite. I hope the youtube gains in the multiple millions of viewers before the election! BTW,my husband who was seeing it in another room laughed his head off, he loved it!

I agree with both you and your husband. I was a nervous wreck and I laughed myself sick. It was like watching a drunk cross the street, but he got to the other side safely and he was hilarious.

See my
post#129 ... I strongly believe that the number of times that this skit has been seen via video clip is well in excess of ten million already.
I am now thinking that the suggestions of everyone putting an empty chair out on their lawn will be a great statement - both jocular and pointed at the same time. Mulling over if a sign is needed... Also, mulling over whether putting that chair out immediately or in a while will be better.
