I didn't say they are Tea party conservatives. I said:

The more I think over what he (Romney) and Ryan have said during the convention, if they truly mean it and will govern that way, then they actually are the TEA party.

Note the qualifiers: "IF they truly mean it" and "(IF they) will govern that way"

In my opinion, Ryan's and Romney's convention speeches were pitches to the base of the Republican party, the TEA party who rose up in 2010.

I'm not making him into anything one way or another, but merely observing what they are doing and saying at the convention and, in the case of the "sanctity of life" line he used, the reaction of those around me to it.

Please read into that what you will, but know that those thoughts are yours, not necessarily mine. This is what I am saying:

Romney will be the next president if the reactions I'm seeing here are similar with voters elsewhere. So whether or not they mean any of what they said in their speeches, it looks like it was effective enough to get them elected.

IF he lives up to those campaign speeches and governs accordingly, then he will be outrageously successful and this generation will look up to him as my generation knew and looked up to Reagan.

I did NOT say Romney is Reagan or that he is a TEA party conservative, but if he governs that way he will be.

For now, I choose to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

The thread from March is about Romney's misrepresentation ~ which simply backs up your argument. People have misrepresented his positions YET in March Conservatives here, if not elsewhere, knew what his positions really were.

He hasn't changed. Guy's a doufous when it comes to RTL.

You make a serious mistake when you claim that Mitt is not a good Mormon, he is an exceptional Mormon, a truly devout, and devoted Mormon, ans is formally recognized as such.

Mitt is a verified Temple Mormon, a verification process that takes place every 2 years, and the ID that is issued, is renewed each year.

Romney wan’t only a Bishop, he was a Stake President, he was the authority over the Bishops of his region, Mitt decided who was devout enough to be awarded Temple status and he would excommunicate and inadequate Mormon.

Mitt excommunicated Mormons who were less devoted than he, Mitt is an excellent Mormon.

he’s not a good Mormon at all

There is nothing in the way Romney governed, his political history that is contrary to Mormonism.

Romney is a temple Mormon, only about 15% ever reach that level.

Both he and Harry Reid are temple Mormons and have received awards from BYU and SLC as representing what a good Mormon is.

Bwahahahaha! Mitt's a throwback to the original Church of the First Born that suckered Joseph Smith into chewing peyote ~ or maybe magic mushrooms.

Same old stuff right down to allowing murder inside the family, particularly if the victims are very young and helpless.

I doubt other Mormons know that part ~ they sure don't teach it but there it is.

Frankly I knew there were First Borners who regularly infiltrated stakes and did everything proper until one day they started selling insurance.

That's part of the scam they play on Mormons ~ bad insurance! Just never figured one of them would play it all the way up into the ranks that far. BTW, Bill Clinton's baby daddy was one of those First-Borners as well. His mother ran off from the church when Bill was a baby ~ probably over some sort of health care he needed ~ she went to school to become a nurse.

I have no idea what that was about, or how it relates to whether Mitt is a good Mormon or not, or how it relates to my post, or anything.

Actually, for those with the inside skivvy, what I was saying is that it is extremely likely that Romney is NOT a real Mormon at all ~

Yeah, Stake President, son of a Bishop, Mormon royalty, supported by the Quorum of 70 and granted permission to run by his Holy Prophet in a face to face meeting, a relationship that was ongoing and personal.

Where do you get your weird stuff?

You sound like you are drunk or on drugs and I can’t make any sense of your posts, but Mitt Romney is a Mormon, a devout one, as described in post 63.

I don’t think so. His position on RTL is ultimately very inconsistent with LDS but very much in conformity with the far older COFB ~ they’re the people who don’t believe in doctors.

You should inform the quorum of 70 and his Pope, that they are wrong about him being a Mormon, and supporting him.

Probably should, but if they'd ever figured out how to read Smith's notes in the Doctrines & Covenants they'd know already that they've been prey for these guys for a very long time.

Who am I ro ruin their little party.

You do live in your own little world. Post 57 seemed rational and normal enough, but it has been a melt down since that post.

” You didn’t hear the testimony of church members on how Romney helped their disabled son. David Oparowski’s cancer eventually took his life and the story is a testament to Romney’s care and concern for human life. You don’t believe Romney and both of you will be voting for Obama. “

No he didn’t, obviously. Agree or disagree with Romney’s politics, saying he has ‘no moral compass’ is baloney, the kind of trash-talk only really messed up partisans stoop to (DKos level sewer).

Too much information for you to digest I am sure. Look up Beryl Hovis, or just read about John Dillinger and his wife. Same folks.

Apparently you have absolutely no understanding of how real cults work.

No, your posts are incoherent, fragmented, disjointed, irrelevant, rambling, you aren’t making any sense whatsoever.

You went from simple, normal post saying that Mitt was not a very good Mormon, to suddenly throwing out weird, disjointed pieces of a confused, cluttered mind ranging off into the ozone.

Incoherent ~ that Bill Clinton's father was a member of the COFB, as was David' Koresh' grandmother, as was John Dillinger's wife, as was Gene Autry's wife, as were most of T. Boone's PIckens neighborhood friends, as was Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdry, as were.........

This is not a very big group at all ~ a few thousand people, most of them spread out across the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains, but they have blood and business ties with LDS and the other Mormon groups you simply cannot understand, and they've had those ties since before Smith started his own church.

A faction within COFB makes their living running confidence games on Mormon organizations ~

Asking Romney to show some sign he's not just another COFB who's infilitrated the LDS is hardly a strange question ~ really! I'm just surprised this guy got that far. It's truly amazing. Now, back to his grandfather and great grandfather, class-A jack mormons who jumped the reservation and went to Mexico to escape the dicta that they give up polygamy ~ doesn't Mitt's family history suggest anything at all to you?

This guy is more like Jim Jones was to the Disciples of Christ than anyone else I can think of right off hand except he's probably not crazy ~ but clever? Yeah, he got the LDS support. He's got yours.

Mitt Romney clearly has no moral compass, that is why he is against everything good and decent in regards to homosexuality, and abortion.

Mitt can live his personal life as a calm, gentle ruler of his clan and employees within his cult world, and congregations, he must do that to attain Godhood, but this is his true moral compass.

*“My position has been the same throughout my political career, and it goes back to the days of 1970,” he said. “There was a woman who was running for political office, U.S. Senate. She took a very bold and courageous stand in 1970, and that was in a conservative state. That was that a woman should have the right to make her own choice as to whether or not to have an abortion. Her name was Lenore Romney, she was my mom. Even though she lost, she established a record of courage in that regard.”*

Five days ago Mitt Romney formally changed his abortion position to “health of the mother’, which is a euphemism for ‘abortion on demand’.

This week August 27 (CBS News) In an interview with CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley, Mitt Romney said his views on abortion rights are more lenient than those put forward in the Republican party platform.
