RENO, Nev. — A Fox Radio affiliate in Reno, Nev. has cancelled a public affairs program because the show’s host conducted an interview on Aug. 12 with Dallas-based social commentator and LGBT advocate Will Kolb.
According to Eddie Floyd, producer of the “House of Savoy” program hosted by ordained minister Sean Savoy, KKFT-FM (99.1) station manager Jerry Evans informed him of the cancellation, citing the Kolb interview as the basis for his decision.
The interview with Kolb touched on a variety of topical issues related to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community, including same-sex marriage and the recent controversy over the statements by Don Cathy, CEO of Chick-fil-A.
Savoy, an ordained minister with the International Community Of Christ, Second Advent Church, said he was “shocked” that he “could be silenced in this manner, especially when there has been no prior complaint of the show’s content.”

Doesn’t make sense. Why cancel a program over a political issue?
I would also cancel any program that expressed a favorable opinion toward homosexuality. The only way having an LGBTQ person on would be OK would be if it was to try and get them to repent and turn from their ways - the ways of the devil.
The reason seems obscure, yes. Unless they feared the host was attempting to turn his program into a pro-gay venue and they didn’t want to go in that direction. I imagine the gays will be bringing a lawsuit.
Odd. I wonder when the stations in my area will close. While I suppose it is possible, it seems more like another attempt to paint FOX/GOP/the Right as racist. Simply, it sounds like the peanut incident.

I hadn't though of that. Running a business is tough nowadays. You can find yourself boxed in pretty easily.
Who knows with LGBT advocates, just noticed they are posting the story on their sites.

“Mr. Evans and his company certainly have the right to control their opinion,” Savoy told LGBTQ Nation. “But censoring any message that benefits the LGBT community is wrong and detracts from basic human rights. It means that he is gate keeping and not allowing the public to make their own informed decisions.”
To your thinking, yes. To lgbt advocates obsessed with signs of human rights violations or discrimination, no. As the radio host is already hinting:

Probably because the station didn't want to receive a ton of calls and defend the program content of a bunch of whiny faggot perverts, bitching about nothing.
