Not nearly as happy as they are to see the lack of willard stickers.

“CNN:

Do you hear a cricket or perhaps a small lapdog?”

If I respond to this, will you promise not to mention your veteran status or accuse me of attacking the US Armed Forces and demand I PM you for your address to meet you for a duel?

“No one in life is EVER going to be politically perfect enough for you perpetual whiners.”

Sure I would. I’d take a politically imperfect but honest candidate, maybe like Newt Gingrich who favored a brand of amnesty, over a progressive statist and professional proven liar like Mitt Romney.

Good one RC. It does get annoying the ever ending mention and mentioning and mentioning again of past service.

I bet the ones with the Hussein stickers are happy to see the ones with the Goode stickers.

Not nearly as happy as they are to see the lack of willard stickers.

A car without a sticker really doesn't signify anything. It doesn't indicate who the driver is going to vote for.

A car with a Goode sticker most likely signifies one less vote for Williard.

As I said, the ones with the Hussein stickers are likely happy to see the ones with the Goode stickers.

It wasn’t going to be a duel, Mr. Drama Queen, it was to be a fistfight and/or ‘rasslin’ match. A duel is “to the death” with weapons and has been illegal for almost 200 years. And the more you write, the more you reveal yourself as the almost certain alter ego of ansel12. Same lingo, same complaints, etc. Or do you both live in the same YMCA and share a computer in the day room?

Is there no principle that is sancrosanct enough for you perpetual compromisers to champion it?

Spending all your time licking the boots of some political candidate because they have an R after their name is the behavior of a quisling, not a patriot.

Enjoying the taste of your own medicine?

You really have become a stalker, now you attack me on threads I’m not even on?

Get a grip on yourself man, do not become a stalker, nor create some personal relationship in your head and let it come to dominate you.

‘It could mean...keep the same message but find a new audience.’

I think that is a lucid observation.
Like Reagan, Sarah Palin can get to the heart of the situation. She has amazing political instincts.
Some folks project their own opinions into her statements.
I see it as a heads up for targeting potential supporters.
And I agree that keeping the Romney ‘base’ and getting Reagan Democrats to vote for Mr. Romney will take a lot of work on his part.

If she thinks he wasn’t talking to everyone in his speech, and only to the choir, she must’ve not watched. Or this is a stupid, misleading article.

Isn’t that why Mitt said he supports abortion for the “health” of the mother? It sure wasn’t an appeal to us.

Well, that interview with Hannity was indeed an hour BEFORE Romney actually made his speech.

Sorry, I gotta send Sarah to timeout. Read the speech, governor. There must be a dozen appeals to the Dems and Indies. Did you not hear the part about “Many of you felt that way on Election Day four years ago. Hope and Change had a powerful appeal. But tonight I’d ask a simple question: If you felt that excitement when you voted for Barack Obama, shouldn’t you feel that way now that he’s President Obama? You know there’s something wrong with the kind of job he’s done as president when the best feeling you had was the day you voted for him.” Mitt sure as heck wasn’t talking to the base or me with that one, cuz we didn’t vote for Obama. Nor was he talking to the base only about the promise of Obama to heal the planet and lower the oceans:
“MY promise...is to help you and your family.” Romney made it possible for Indies and Dems to feel they don’t have to vote AGAINST Obama, they can vote for somebody. If you can’t find the other ten examples in that speech, Sarah, you can always write in the chair on your ballot. Quit sulking and get on board instead of flashing around in the sea like a rogue torpedo. That goes for the rest of you with Romney Derangement Syndrome. It’s either Romney or Obama. Could it be any simpler?

It means visit a wide variety of places, groups and organizations and don’t pander to each group. Stay with a simple, consistent message.

I wish Sarah would just shut up. There I said it. Attack if you want but I think Mitt is doing just fine. I am so sick of being worried and fearing every day. We went through that for eight long years with W and then the last election with a candidate who had no drive. Well, Mitt has that drive and wants to win. His convention was perfection and the day after was more presidential than Barry who is defending himself with Tweets. Let’s have some confidence and just do this! And if Sarah Palin wants to join along, great...we are happy to have her support. But if not, please keep quiet.

Well, if it’s any consolation I passed by my first Romney shirt on the Upper East Side last week. :)

Well, I don’t know about Virginia, but here in Maine, I drove along a two-lane state highway through two rural coastal towns in Eastern Maine a few days ago. There were no lawn signs.

Today, I drove through the same area, and I spotted at least a dozen Romney lawn signs in front of at least a dozen different homes. I didn’t see any lawn signs for any other candidates.
