(CNSNews.com) Is the U.S. Army headed in the right direction?
An internal Army survey that was conducted in 2011 and published this year discovered that only 26 percent of active-duty Army officers say yes--and that one of the two main themes cited by those who say no is that the Army is now adversely impacted by "political correctness" imposed by both outside policymakers and senior Army leaders.
The 26 percent who said the Army was headed in the right direction in 2011 was the lowest percentage who gave that response since the Army began conducting this survey in 2005. It was also significant drop from the 33 percent who had said the Army was heading in the right direction in 2010.
In the 2011 survey, in contrast to the 26 percent who said the Army was heading in the right direction, 38 percent said it was headed in the wrong direction and another 36 percent remained neutral on the topic, neither agreeing nor disagreeing that the army is heading in the right direction.

Most likely, Ma’am, it was a targeted survey, like a push poll.
I must read this tomorrow.
It started going to crap in the ‘80’s when we couldn’t sing “Naphalm Sticks to Kids” anymore.
I’ve been in politically correct enviroments (state school, the workplace), but what is happening in the military is bizarre. Maybe it happens at all places of government employment; I wouldn’t know.
The affirmative action that has destroyed the ability of many whites to raise families has now spread into an arena where lives are on the line; no matter how many movies they show with minority/female war heroes, they should be judged solely on their merits without the freak utopia goal in mind to determine outcomes.
We have way to many top brass with 30-40 years in that do more golfing and partying that need to be retired and the working lower ranks moved up, instead of being told to resign before they have their 20 years in.
That is how democrats and RINOs do it. They sidle up and smile in front of the troops, smile while shaking their hands and patting them on the back whenever there’s a camera in the same hemisphere, then return to their lairs and stab them in the backs, plot to emasculate them, cut their budgets, and define rules of engagement that turn them into bullet magnets. Been there, done that for 20 years. Politicians are, with almost no exception, pathetic excuses for human beings. Worthless.
