High point back in May. Stayed ahead in June and most of July and then in August enjoyed a 3-4 percent lead. Along comes late August and into September and Mitt is down. Now up 3-4 points again, after announcing Ryan, and after the convention and people want to cheer and tout this???

To me it’s very troubling. Especially when the CNN and MSNBC folks are doing their best to say we are doing better four years later ad nauseum and the convention is beginning. There will be a full court press for the next two months to tell everyone how great Obama is and how great things are and how the lying Ryan and evil Mitt will make things go backwards. We should have had a 10 point lead coming out of the convention. It absolutely boggles my mind with how rotten things are in employment land, our credit rating, the price of gas, ect etc etc.

We are sort of in heavy number crunching time.

Which do you prefer? Undiluted Rasmussen? Or the RCP average?

Obviously Rasmussen without the others is better for Romney now. But that RCP average has historically been pretty good.
