What you don’t understand is that it was exceptions to the unalienable right to life that opened the door to abortion on demand. And it is exceptions that keep that door wide open.
It is inevitable, because, once you abandon the principle of equality before the law, you have nothing left, morally, legally, or politically.
“What you dont understand is that it was exceptions to the unalienable right to life that opened the door to abortion on demand.”
Trust me, I understand these issues much better than you. I’ve been involved in the pro-life movement all of my adult life (and that’s a long time). Even testifying before a congressional committee in the nineties.
There will always be exceptions, and there should be (tubal pregnancies for instance). It’s the hard line in denying these exceptions that fuels the pro-death movement. We can win the war without fighting every battle.
The courts were ignorant regarding human development when roe/wade was decided. The medical technology is here today to remove an embryo and transplant it into another host. To that extent all pregnancies are viable.
And we are winning the war. Ask someone from the younger generation what they think of abortion... Most see it for what it is.
The national nightmare of abortion will end.
