I can't speak for the 'establishment', but I don't believe Romney wants to alienate or dismiss the Tea Party.I don't know how to get this message to Romney, but he's GOTTA show us some love. If he doesn't, he's going to face a tougher 2012, and -- if successful in 2012 -- a much MUCH tougher 2016.

He may very well be off on his own in 2016 with no party outside of 'Killer' Rove, and the remaining Bushbot/Mittbot clone brigade.
He's offended (politically) too much of the current Republican party base to hold them for long.
