so.. the only reason we haven’t labeled them terrorists is because it might piss off Pakistan?

In other words, there is no doubt at all that they are indeed terrorists.... the decision is should we call them that?

Yes, I think you have that right. US/Pakistan relations have always been a mystery. Basically, I think it goes back to the alliance with the Saudis, who support Pakistan, and can’t be offended.

American politicians should read Machiavelli’s “The Prince”.

I also like Sulla’ epithet “ There is no enemy who wronged me, no friend who helped me, whom I have not repaid in full”.

But people like Hillary and even George Bush II think you make friends by being nice to savages.
