to c's wife's pov --> from the article: ncidentally, just to anticipate the comment thread, the fact that Mitt Romney is not Gary Johnson or Ron Paul doesn’t make him a socialist. He would not have been my first choice in the Republican primaries – though he has grown on me over the past week – but that fact is no longer pertinent. On any measure, he will be an improvement on Barack Obama.

CW was a super-supported of Rick Perry, campaigning for him day and night. I'm sure if you could give her the option of dropping Mitt for Rick, she'd do it in a heartbeat. Probably even for dropping Mitt for any other candidate (bar Paul).

And that's the case for me as well. I loathe Mitt, but I loathe 0 even more.

I want the tea-party to take the senate and the congress, and I don't want Obama to win. That's the problem, to get 0 to lose we have Mitt, so my vote is a vote against 0, not a vote for Mitt. we have the alternative of bad (Mitt) or horrible (Obama)...
