(ABC News) — President Obama received a less than warm welcome and a warning upon arrival at the airport here on the second stop of his Iowa visit, which was aimed at recapturing some of the magic the state gave his run to the White House in 2008.
Greeting Air Force One as it touched down under sunny skies and sultry heat was a hand-painted banner draped across the top of an airplane hangar that reads, “Obama Welcome to SUX – We Did Build This.” “SUX” is the airport code for Sioux City.
The message appeared to be a response President Obama’s “you didn’t build that” remark from a July campaign rally, when he was trying to explain that government — not businesses — constructed public infrastructure on which the economy relies. Republicans have used the four words to attack Obama as out of touch with the realities of owning and operating a small business.
The banner is a reminder that this part of the state remains hotly contested turf for both Obama and his Republican rival Mitt Romney, just as the campaign enters the home stretch.
Sioux City, which sits on the border with Nebraska in the northwest corner of the state, is territory Obama lost in 2008 to Sen. John McCain, even though he won the state overall. Obama won 49 percent of the vote here to McCain’s 50 percent, a difference of just 500 votes.
Obama also won the Iowa caucuses, an early confirmation that his message was resonating with Democrats.
He wasn't talking roads and bridges etc that we all are taxed for in order for all of us to move about.
He also was mocking people who think they are soooo smart. And think they work so hard.
Well there are alot of smart people!

Notice in the article ‘they’ have to point out that the plane did NOT land in BO territory, Sarah Palin/John McCain won the district even tho BO took the state....

Pres. Osama mistaken revealed his true opinion that ‘we’ are not the gov’t, that the gov’t is a superannuated thing, the chief god “from whom all blessings flow”.
That wasn't an accident. I'm sure that's how the sign's designers wanted it to read. But ABC was careful to avoid that interpretation ... for some odd reason.
He's welcome in Iowa.

Regardless...*chuckle*... given some people's eyesight and attention span, what did the majority see?

He didn't do the hard work of flipping burgers at a restaurant or tossing newspapers at 4:30 A.M. from his bycycle,
HE didn't engage in footwork and paperwork and networking for loans for his start-up business, HE didn't apparently, from what we know, do one damn thing except smoke dope and attend school. (And even his schooling leaves some big questions.) He was simply one KEPT YOUNG MAN....groomed as it were and oh so entitled because of his skin color.
His hardest job has been supporting the great big chip he carries on his shoulder, it must weigh a ton. A chip fed by those who influenced his young life. Now he surrounds himself with those who help keep that chip fed. The slugs in his administration-equally sick.
Obama has NEVER BUILT ANYTHING. His hands are as lilly white and one half of his genetic code.
He has the understanding of a rock and the guilt of every freaking liberal jerk who 'has' and wants to make it known to everyone (who has less) that he is going to take from others (not give sacrificially himself-OF COURSE)and give it to them. (For votes, of course.)
This perverted thinking is how budding dictators woo the populace-and it is how central authorities are born.
Imo-he is a 'core'narcississt as he has demonstrated plenty of symtoms of this personality disorder. And he very well may be sociopathic as well as narcissistic-although I do think he may have a conscience. Maybe. Possibly.
Whichever the case-if either-the man is as manipulative and shallow as saul alinsky and combined with axelrod and others-doomed to fail among a people who deeply understand the sacrifice made to form and maintain freedom.
We own this country. Obama was hired to work for us and he failed. Therefore he is going to be fired.
Besides, we don't need a so called leader who is JEALOUS of those who have done their own 'building'! rant/off
