I can honestly say that I would be delighted to see Obama and the Missus living in Hawaii starting 1/21/2013, and I wish them well in their island paradise.

Compare enduring the humidity and cold of DC, the head aches of fundraising while trying to get in some golf to life on the beach, shady palms, shaved ice and Mai Tais amidst throngs of admirers, looking forward to traveling to the next exotic location to collect another $300,000 speaking fee and loads of donations to the "Obama library".

But I thought that Ronald Reagan owned his ranch prior to becoming president, the same with George W. Bush and his Ranch in Texas.
The Clinton’s did buy their home in New York with Donor Assistance and the yearly rent they charge the Secret Service to have a structure on site pays the monthly mortgage payment if memory serves me properly.
George H. W. Bush had several homes he owned around the Country.
Carter had his Home in Plains long before becoming President.
So the statement that it is common for Donors to buy Presidents the “After-Presidency” Home seem to be more than a “bit” disingenuous.
