A former soldier has been jailed for four months after he tied a pig's head to the gates of a mosque before uploading pictures of what he did on Facebook.

Simon Parkes, 45, tied the animal's head to the front of Cheltenham Mosque, Gloucestershire, after seeing a group of Muslims burning poppies on Remembrance Sunday 2010.

He also wrote 'Allah' on the pig's snout in what was seen as an 'act of revenge' against the Muslim religion.

... Sentencing him Judge Jamie Tabor QC, said: 'Not only soldiers but the majority of citizens of this country were offended by seeing the poppies burnt.

'They, however, did not react as you did. You deliberately set out to not only insult another religion but you undertook to inflame and enhance racial tension.'

..There was anger in March last year when Emdadur Choudhury was fined just £50 for starting the fire and shouting 'British soldiers burn in hell'. Emdadur Choudhury was fined just £50 for starting the fire and shouting 'British soldiers burn in hell'

After receiving his penalty the 26 year old said: 'I don't have any respect for British soldiers, and if they lose a limb or two in Afghanistan then they deserve it.'

I think both acts were bad, but the ex-soldier gets 4 months and the Moslem creep who started it gets just a 50 gbp fine?

apologies for editing the title to fit

Yup. That’s the way it works these days.

Get used to it. It will get worse.

When two or three Judges of our Supreme Court refer to foreign law in their farcical Constitutional decisions, it is but a short intellectual walk to accept Sharia.

This will not end well.

Insulting another religion and inflaming racial tensions is a crime? Who’s making up these rules as they go along? I see Democrats do it all the time. But we’re talking about England here I guess.

muslims burning poppies on Remembrance Sunday 2010.

Sometimes people become fed up and react. In the eyes of the court, moslems are not to be offended with an act equal to burning poppies on Remembrance Day, therefore an unequal judgment by the court (imho).

Gives me a great idea. How about a bacon cannon?

That judge needs to grabbed by a group of patriots and have a pig head put on him and photos sent around the world.

Look up plans for a “spud gun.”
No doubt you could modify it into a bacon and potato machine.

All people are not offended equally, obviously.

Desecrating a remembrance Sunday ceremony with such vileness was utterly offensive to the majority of the British population, but these days, its the offense taken by minorities that counts for more...

So?
More pig’s heads!
More bacon strips!
Keep it up ‘till the jails overflow!

It’s called “Civil Disobediance”—and it works.

This is a crying shame. Happily, the poppy symbol is absolutely revered in England. I'm in London every November and it's so touching to see how seriously everyone takes Remembrance Day. I can't blame that soldier at all!

I too understand the reaction by the ex-soldier. The symbol of the price paid, the poppies being burned was an intentional act followed by an equal intentional act. The court was wrong in this decision. It will serve to enrage those who love their nation of England and her fallen warriors.

Politically Correct England is a cruel joke compared to the magnificent nation it used to be.

All that happens is even more native born Brits apply to emigrate to New Zealand, Australia, Canada, United States, ...... probably time to get all their old time historical sites in order for some degree of protection from the Moslem hordes.

Not the least bit surprising. In Britain, political correctness rules. If someone breaks into your house and assaults your loved ones and you defend your home with a gun or even a knife, chances are you'll be sent to jail for far longer than will the perpetrator. If you find a gun on your front lawn and take it to a police station to turn it in, you'll be arrested for gun possession, as actually happened. And on, and on.

So often on Remembrance Day, the focus is on World War I. In recent years, there have been television shows about British soldiers who were executed for “cowardice” during the War. These were actually men suffering terribly from shell shock. They interview the descendants and show photographs of these young men. Always reduces me to tears! And some sniveling, sloppy-looking Moslem burning poppies! Makes my blood boil.

Almost without exception, the easier it is to offend a group, the lower their intelligence and their position is always very week.

It is just like those who play the race card.

The mere act of a non-Mud-Slime waking up in the morning can be offensive to a Mud-slime.

I would be interested to actually see how many laws are on the books outlawing “offending” as that seems to be the dregs of society’s best weapon against the rest of us.

Any law which would attempt to outlaw offending would be one horrendous piece of legal crap-o-la as this would allow the maggots of society free reign to define what offends them.

Maybe the rest of us should be offended that Mud-slimes are allowed to breath our air.

Emdadur Choudhury is an agent provocateur for the militant Islam that has taken root in Britain. Protected by all of the free speech rights and what has to be called a celebrity status, he is the one proclaiming a desire to convert Britain into an Islamic State by ANY MEANS possible.

As a father of two children, he receives £792 (abt. $1,200 USD) per month welfare from the country that he proudly boasts; “I don’t take any acceptance of the law of this country. I wear it proudly as a badge that I did something for the sake of Allah.”
