The campaign says the size of Obama's events this summer have purposely been kept low. Large rallies are more expensive and security requirements are more intense for a sitting president than a candidate.

BS .... he's been going to colleges and areas where the crowds are predominantly black to get decent crowds for the camera. As for Charlotte, I would like nothing better than to see a stadium full of RATS huddled under their rain gear in a downpour, while The Won, who thinks he can slow the rise of the oceans, gets his butt whipped by Mother Nature.

I think the rats have contingency plans in case of rain.

Heck, they could use one of the vacant car dealership showrooms that still languish in Charlotte 3 years after the auto bailout.

Obama got SS protection from very early in his candidacy. This is as BS an excuse as they could conjure.

So these students’ parents are paying their hard earned money in tuition so the kid can take a bus to Charlotte, return to campus very late at night and (likely) miss class the next morning? Not that anyone takes class on Friday anymore. Gotta prepare for the weekend!

His events are always college campuses and union halls. He doesn’t show his face anywhere else!
