Where will empty chair be going today? Will he golf? Will he campaign while unemployment numbers are revealed again on Friday after the empty chair speech? The MSM cheerleaders love an empty chair.
I just put my empty lawn chair out by my mailbox, ready to bow to the postman and and foreign leaders who happen by.
Who built the empty chair?

"Get off my lawn!"
~ Saul Alinsky, "Rules for Radicals"

That’s Great!
It’s “Crazy About Clint” day on AMC! Clint Eastwood movies all day and all night. Yee Haw!!!
I just put my empty lawn chair out by my mailbox, ready to bow to the postman and and foreign leaders who happen by.
"Empty chairs" don't impose dictatorial powers over individuals, over productive companies whose productivity is limited by excessive regulations, over religious institutions whose charity and help for those in need is threatened by un-Constitutional intrusions into their ability to operate by their religious principles, and on and on!!!
The vacuum of leadership in upholding and defending liberty, signified by the "empty chair," must not be allowed to minimize the determined, unbending, and dictatorial presence which now "occupies" a place reserved for one who would, like George Washington, defend and protect the essential principles underlying "the People's" Constitution.

Get off our lawn!
.....But the “empty chair” sends a “message”.
He is campaigning in Ohio. I thought he was supposed to head to LA today following Romney’s lead. Romney was in LA on Friday with Governor Bobby Jindal.
Obama’s campaigning on the taxpayer’s money.
We have an empty chair on our lawn with a simple sign saying “Vote 2012!”. It feels so good.
The media badmouthed Eastwood, that means the media badmouthed the U.S.A. too. Most people we know support Eastwood not the MSM.
Nobody on the road
Nobody on the beach
I feel it in the air
The summer's out of reach
Empty lake, empty streets
The sun goes down alone
I'm driving by your house
Though I know you're not home

Leadership has been "missing" on principles and ideas dear to freedom and prosperity, but, and this is a big but, there are forces who wish to "fundamentally change" and eradicate the principles of the Framers' Constitution who see that chair as having been occupied and active in its "progressing" of another set of ideas.
We must be specific in describing to our youth the difference between the Presidential leadership of Washington or Jefferson on behalf of freedom and that of a president "absent" on those principles essential to liberty.
Just sitting back and enjoying a reefer.
My wife asked similar question- What good is it for those who don't know the reference. I responded, they will ask others and others will inform them.
A political sign tries to do the same thing, but I think this is more powerful because its different.

Good thought!!! And when they ask, tell them to view the Eastwood video. They will “get” the many other messages contained in that conversation with the imaginary occupant of that chair—and the message will resound within them, because their instincts will tell them that Eastwood’s points are right on target—that it is not that the chair has been “empty,” but that its occupant’s policies have failed.
I just flipped it on in time to see Ol’ Angel Eyes.
Gad....Van Cleef was hot.
[did AMC do this at the last minute or what?]
That’s what I was wondering. I watch AMC a lot (I’m a “Hell On Wheels” fanatic) and didn’t see it being advertised. It’s a hoot that they are doing it today on Empty Chair day though.
I thought the empty POTUS was supposed to be visiting NOLA or some place ravaged by Hurricane Isaac?
Or did Air Force One make an emergency landing abort when the pilots saw the runway had two rows on each side of thousands of empty chairs?
It’s a great way to draw viewers.
Now I’ll have something to watch while the DEMons conduct their circus.
:)
Via “Popwatch”:
“AMC had its Clint Eastwood movie marathon planned way before the whole Invisible Obama thing happened. Try to forget his rambling address by remembering how great he was in films like A Fistful of Dollars and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. (10 a.m.-12 a.m.)”
AMC got lucky...punk.
;D
THIS SEAT IS TAKEN !!!
THIS SEAT IS TAKEN !!!
Ha ha ha ha haaaaaaa!! Laughed out loud!! Thanks for that one.
