There is no way Obama will risk his reelection with a war in the Persian Gulf. Our big blue water ships are incredibly vulnerable in the narrow confines of the Persian Gulf. If Israel were to attack (still doubtful) and Iran were to attack those ships with shore to ship missiles, Obama will be held accountable as CIC. The Obama administration will do anything necessary to prevent an attack.
The U.S. is more vulnerable to a potential Iranian nuclear attack than Israel. That’s why George Bush warned repeatedly about the dire need to eliminate Iran’s bombmaking potential and often vowed to do so, although of course he never did.
The Ayatollahs of Iran are either crazy Muslim fanatics or reasonable individuals. If they’re crazy Muslim fanatics, the last place they’d drop a nuclear bomb is on Israel, since Jerusalem is a holy city to Muslims, and nothing would provoke the wrath of Allah, the Twelfth Imam, etc., than a nuclear mess where the sacred Dome of Rock used to be.
If, on the other hand, the Ayatollahs are rational human beings, the last place they’d also drop a nuclear bomb is on Israel, which of all nations is probably the most certain to retaliate by incineratoring Teheran.
Which leaves America, frightened Obama-ruled America. With a usable nuclear bomb finally mounted on a rocket, why would the Ayatollahs hesitate to blackmail Washington with a threat to bomb a U.S. city if it doesn’t get what it wants, for example, the complete retreat of all American ships and installations out of the Persian Gulf.
Whatever Israel chooses to do about Iran, Israel will be all right. But if the Ayatollahs go nuclear, America won’t be.
IMO… At this point it’s far too late to make a hard hit against Iran. It is indeed difficult to allow Iran nukes as they vow to wipe Israel off the face of the earth but a preemptive strike is not the answer.
I stand with a steadfast, iron clad promise that an attack on Israel is an attack against the USA and we will retaliate with the full force of our military in all aspects. No BS, no second guessing. A firm line in the sand, period.
We must put our trust in the Lord for He promises Israel’s defense. America must stand with Israel.
But we’re the most supportive administration of Israel ever.

An Iranian surprise attack (perhaps a nuclear attack) on Israel will occur simultaneously with an attack on American military assets in the Middle East. They have to do that to protect themselves and assure Iranian supremacy and domination of the Arab/Islamic world which they have always desired. America & Israel are in the way. As for the European powers, they will cower in fear and try to hide behind “diplomacy”.
If it was ever in question, this clarifies the matter.
