Right on. Thank you.
Janet of "Dykes R US' Homeland Security has determined the child is a potential domestic terrorist and the Southern Poverty Law (Paranoid) Center backs Janet up saying, " this child and 4 other people plan on overthrowing the government... and WILL be WATCHED..."
The MSM is buying it all - as they do when such words drop from the mouths of liberals.... What a world.
(this child and four others couldn't 'overthrow' a neighborhood in Paducah - not trying to step on paranoid liberal fantasies or anything...)
Someone who can reach O’Reilly should send this story in.
The 11 year old should be interviewed.
Was there any lamestream media coverage. If so, send links.
“A nation that kills its own children is a nation without hope.” John Paul II
They are safer than children in the womb!!
And a child shall lead them ...................
Of course they are, much safer.
But that’s a pretty low bar to use.
I know wouldn’t take my grandchildren to such a location for a demonstration.
From a legal perspective, somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember litigation on this was either begun or threatened with the Westboro protesters. My recollection is the family members were determined to be within their rights to bring their children to a First Amendment protest. If that was legal and not child abuse, I think it's obvious that the parents here were within their rights.
From a moral perspective, I think we need to respect parental rights in this matter, as well as parental discernment of what their children can handle.
I can see Balding Eagle's point. I do not want my 13-year-old daughter at a protest like this. She's too naive and I do not believe she could handle this.
On the other hand, children react to things differently. At that age, I was already a pretty fiery conservative Republican. I was not a Christian at the time and didn't have a strong position on abortion, but I would have had zero problem with going to a secular conservative protest against some sort of liberal outrage, and would have welcomed the opportunity for a verbal confrontation.
We need to leave those kinds of decisions to the parents involved. They know their children best.
That wasn't his point; if he stated that he wouldn't bring his children of similar age to a similar event, no one would have objected to that comment.
