Being a pawn between the US and Saudi Arabia is not a great thing. Being able to smash the next threat without a blessing from Washington would be helpful.
Delusion sure comforts the Democrats.
If Jewish voters liked Israel so much, they would no longer live in the United States. Many of them wish to disavow any ties with the Jewish State, either because of the intense propaganda campaign, or for fear of being accused of dual loyalty, or because they simply find life in the United States comfortable, or because they are ideologically opposed to nationalism of any sort, or some combination.
Israel’s most ardent supporters are not American Jews, but American Christians. A significant number of American Jews do indeed identify with Israel, but they are not the majority, merely a significant number, and they do not amount to a fraction of the voting power of American Christians.
So, as disgusting as it is to you and me, a lot of American Jews will support Obama. They will get nothing as Jews for this support, but they primarily identify themselves as leftists or Americans, in whatever order of priority. What ever Jewish identity they still cherish is subsumed in leftist blather, and abject ignorance.
As for all you Christians out there in Freep-ia and America, I’m glad you’re there. You may yet save those demented, cock-eyed American Jews from themselves, and my little country along with them. Thanks for voting and campaigning against Obama.
The Jews are our older brothers in faith. Christians are the adopted sons. God bless Israel.
