How about we take the $1B could do some good on our shores - such as refunding it back to tax payers

Did Obama check with the Chinese first? After all they lend us most of the money for Obama’s trillion dollar federal yearly deficit. Is it OK if we send a billion of the loan to Egypt? Never forget Obama is a vapid liberal. The motto of all liberals is “With my guilt and your gelt, we can do anything.”
This is nothing more than Obama fiat to support his north Afican caliphate... all with one goal. The elimination by proxy of the only democracy in the Mideast, Israel.
All done for his brethren at Americas expense. I’ll bet they are all having a hearty laugh at the stupidity of the once Christian nation.

Good question: You’d think that since Congress has to appropriate funds for foreign assistance that they’d have a say if the executive decides to forgive money owed to the US Treasury.
But we’ve seen plenty of evidence that this president is not overly concerned with abiding by the Constitution.

Yep, if the check register says there’s a balance, write another check. Where have I heard that before? Well, one group I’ve heard say it is 10 year old kids. And there’s another group I’ve heard say it, too.

No kidding....Today ONLY (not to mention the other million countries we support) we are going to give Israel and now Egypt a bunch of financial aid that we don’t have to give. Ridiculous. Why can’t these dang people understand that we don’t have money to give to these other countries until we fix ourselves here first. It is so frustrating.
