A woman who was named Essex County, N.J.s Teacher of the Year in 2011 has been suspended from her job after being accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student.
US West Orange High School teacher Erica DePalo, 33, of Montclair, was charged Friday with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, the Essex County Prosecutors Office announced.

Acceptable in that photo especially if you are a 16 year old boy and she is edumacating you. Just list her part time after hours job as sex educator.
This is abnormal and only how it is today due to feminization of society. The way it was in college and going by basic human instinct and the way guys and gals are wired....It is the men who are the exploiters and the ones who love 'em and leave 'em.
Yep, things are changing in terms of relationships. I know at least 3/4 of uannatched women my age have "friends(with benefits)" partners for "relief sex"..no love involved...and that 3/4 figure might be low.
Oh My — GUILTY — take the plea deal.
Saw your home page so you kinda sorta know what is going on...... Women become predatory as you describe when they eat more meat. The natural inclination of women is to be more vegetarian than men. This applies across large groups and individuals can be be different
It is unbecoming for the gentler sex to eat lots of meat and flesh. This is why the top end steak houses are masculine looking decor with clubby look wood paneling etc and are guy type places
Young girls who are advanced in puberty do not realize the sexual power they possess.
I am not saying they adults are right, by far they are wrong.
I am saying that it scares me to see these young girls touting this sexual power like a kid who has just found his father’s gun. It scares me on so many levels now that I am old and experienced enough to understand.
Thank you trailhkr1, that is exactly what I have been trying to say!!
The visual helps.
No, things like this don't "happen".
People, perverted and depraved adults, DO these things. Stupid and foolish people on this forum try to defend the depraved perverts ... one wonders what lurks in the backgrounds of those stupid and foolish people.
He may not get pregnant, but he could be on the hook for 18 years of child support payments. How much does a 15 year old earn in a year, anyway?
lol!
I’m guessing there’s very little chance of that happening.
pot-kettle, IMO
"Pot-kettle"?
I'm almost sure you're looking for a different idiom. That one means something unrelated to my prior post.
I think I get your drift, though. The NEA and Congress are equally contaminated, degraded, corrupted, etc. They're fellow travelers.
I get where you're coming from, Stu. The alternative to having Congress investigate their fellow travelers is for every loving parent to pull their kids out of the government screwels.
That's what we did.
Still.....something ought to be done about the high incidence of teacher on student sexual predation. It's become an epidemic.
I can't speak for other countries, but home schooling sure works here. So do private schools. Frankly, you don't have to turn your kids over to the government indoctrination centers if you're determined not to, and you can still provide them with a good education.
BJ Clinton was unavailable tonight.
We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see if he will issue a post-POTUS pardon.
What would you suggest?
Well, like I said in my previous post, the first thing any loving parent should do, is pull their kids out of the danger zone. Barring that, they need to put a microscope on everything that happens in every class their child attends - most especially, who's teaching those classes. It's not just a good idea, it's becoming downright mandatory.
As to the epidemic of teacher on student sexual predation, it will take a lot of insistent and incessant voices to get the attention of those who have the power to do something about it. My hope is that with a Republican dominated Congress, there will be lots of willing ears listening on Capitol Hill.
But what do you suggest be done about the problem? No one even knows this happens until it’s done.
