Thank God we took our eldest out of public school after his first semester of kindergarten. We started home schooling then (ten years ago), and have never looked back.
The frequency of these stories of teachers having sex with their students convinces me that one of my four kids would have probably encountered this, if we hadn’t.
This is a national disgrace, and is worthy of a congressional investigation, in my opinion.
We took ours out in the 4th and 2nd grade respectively. They’re both adults now. My son hears these stories and looks at me sideways like he’s plotting his revenge. I’m worried.
