As we all know, journalists should not take sides. Reality is another thing, so the MRC created "Journalists for Obama" spoof t-shirts. The irony is many didn't seem to get the joke as evidenced by how quickly a DNC Convention zombie hoarde scoffed up the couple dozen or so given out for free by the MRC field team in Charlotte.

The video shows what you'd guess it would show - zombie Liberals with their hands out.

What would have been even funnier is to have had another T-shirt printed up with "Journalists for Objectivity" side by side with the Obama-Ts... but I get it, why waste the money... "objectivity? What Objectivity? we don't need not stinkin' Objectivity, gime that Obama-T"

You can tell they’re democratic voters quick with their hand out for a freebie.

Hahaha! I saw a guy with NPR on his shirt kind of back out of the circle, turn around and with an embarrassed grin meander away. I think he may have realized the problem but seems to have almost fallen for the joke. However, he may have just gotten there too late.

Is there a new meaning to "scoff" that hasn't made it to the dictionaries yet?
World English Dictionary scoff 1 (skɒf) vb (often foll by at ) 1. to speak contemptuously (about); express derision (for); mock 2. obsolete ( tr ) to regard with derision n 3. an expression of derision 4. an object of derision [C14: probably from Scandinavian; compare Old Frisian skof mockery, Danish skof, skuf jest]

That was my observation as well. I believe the intended term is 'scarf up', and while the
definition of 'scarf' is even in keeping with the original slang, it's a term I've heard for a long while.
This sort of error in usage is akin to how often people spell 'lose' loose, as in 'I hate to loose'. That's just plain dumb. IMHO, of course. $:-)
