The was a bounce, the media is simply ignoring it

You are correct. There was a healthy bounce, but a combination of media spin and the unfortunate coincidence of a holiday weekend and the DNC coming immediately thereafter obscured it.

They will be all the more surprised in November. Barring some sort of disaster, Zero is toast.

The catch is, many media outlets these days has their own polling which all have different methodology, so what are we left with? I am going to assume the historical look at bounces is based on Gallup.

As for the article, if the premise is, not getting a bounce is no big deal, I have to admit, it sounds like spin.
