“I have been very clear to my campaign. I do not want to see research that is involved in trying to tear people down personally,” Mr. Obama said. “If I find out that somebody is doing that, they will be fired. And I have been absolutely crystal clear about this, and I have been clear about this for a very long time.”

“That’s not what I believe in, that’s not who I am,” Mr. Obama said about any personal research information that could be and frankly, just from a practical or political perspective, it’s contrary to the kind of message of change that I’ve been talking about on this campaign.”

“to look into his background (to ward off surprises) and to study the records and histories of his rivals.”

‘to look into his background (to ward off surprises)’ That’s political code for destroying or hiding records something that Hitlery excelled in at the Rose Law Firm.

When did Obama dcide to not use personal information? Certainly not when he opened the Divorce papers on his opponent when he was running for Senator.Or when he ran for State Senator.

He is begging Republicans not to open up on his own personal
problems is what this is all about.
When the attacks start on Romney from his PACs he will deny accountability for it. This guy is as smarmy as they come.

Ten bucks says that in the fourth week of October Politico will get a tip that when he was 23 Romney was involved with a dead teenage male prostitute.

And they'll print it.

Sure Barry. That’s why every one of your political opponents has had their private, sealed, or personal records released to the press.
