Pelosi: Obama can't control the weather

Rain concerns forcing the Democrats to move President Obama's convention speech to a smaller venue Thursday night won't dampen spirits or dilute the president's message, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Wednesday.

The Democratic leader said the weather is "a higher power" that the president can't control.

"It's rain, what can we do?" Pelosi said at a breakfast sponsored by The Christian Science Monitor. "There are some decisions that are made from a different place and whether it rains or not is not in the president's control."

The weather shouldn’t have mattered. Enthusiastic Obama supporters wouldn’t have minded listening to Obama’s acceptance speech in the rain. Do football teams have trouble attracting full crowds in the rain? Never.

Obama’s problem is that he cannot attract large crowds, and it was a mistake by the Obama team to try to fill a 74,000-seat stadium for an Obama speech, even though they had weeks to prepare.

If Obama truly believes Democrats aren’t hardy enough to put up with a little rain to listen to one of his speeches, what does he think will happen if it rains on Election Day in Democratic districts?

I would fear lightning strikes too if I was Obama and leading this group that openly says there is no God, Jerusalem is not the capital city of God's chosen people, to murder the unborn, to steal from those that work to give to the lazy and slothful, to corrupt our children and promote homosexual lifestyles further corrupting the moral base to civilization and the making war on the family, to redifine marraige and turn from the institution ordained by God, to divide the people and nation based upon race, faith, and wealth, to turn the nations back on Israel and support the muslim agenda and aid Iran in their evil wish to destroy the Jewish people the way Hitler attempted to, support the communist agenda, godless agenda, to ignore our christian heritage and foundation, to stifle our free speech and to disarm us so as to bring about another civil war, to take away our freedom and waste our national fortune and treasure and place the nation in jeopardy!!!!!

Yep, I would worry about lightning coming out of a clear sky too!

Just listened to an obama butt kisser congratulating him for “protecting” the people from lightning and storms by moving it inside. In other words, he said the people were too stupid and would have sat in a lightning storm, so obama had to take charge and protect them.

But....but....we were told he would stop the rise in the oceans and he would heal the planet.
