Media Fail to Fact-Check Michelle's Speech

"National Public Radio, among other mainstream media outlets, whitewashed First Lady Michelle Obama's fib-filled speech to the Democratic National Convention last night. At the end of a roundup of perfunctory attempts to fact-check some of the Democrats' speeches, NPR gave Mrs. Obama a clean bill of health: "As for first lady Michelle Obama's address to the convention, the fact checkers don't seem to have any faults to find."" http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism

"That is because they weren't looking. The basic premise of Mrs. Obama's speech--that she and her husband had struggled economically like so many other Americans--is false. Not only did they enjoy many advantages that others do not, but CNS News reports that Barack Obama inherited half a million dollars in stock from his grandmother, a bank vice president who Michelle misleadingly cited as a victim of gender discrimination.

These fibs are not new for the Obama camp. The UK Daily Mail reported during the 2008 campaign that Michelle Obama has benefited from vast exaggerations of her "working-class origins," substituting a humble single-room residence for what was in fact a middle-class home, and obscuring the fact that her family shared in the spoils from the Democratic Party's regime of (segregated) patronage in Richard Daley's Chicago.

Many of the details the First Lady revealed of the Obama's purported struggles were previously unknown. They would certainly have been available to the Obamas for use in speeches and campaign propaganda four years ago, if true. Yet many of them were mysteriously revealed to the public for the first time at the DNC."

Blitzer called it a "grand slam"!

Charles Krauthammer "brilliant," but also added: "I didn't buy a line of it."). http://www.breitbart.com/big-journalism

If Progressive newspeak, a “fact” is defined as any assertion uttered by a leftist.

IIRC, Zero and Moochelle started dating after Law School. Why ever would the Bamster be driving a car that was rusted out when he was a graduate of Harvard Law? Or wearing shoes a half size too small? That whole wet kiss to the Pres..ent last night reeks of fabrication.

The same way Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels was brilliant.

And Goebbles learned his trade from the Progressive movement in the early 20th century USA.. Woody Wilson, Teddy Roosevelt, etc. He actually admitted that he learned from them.

MO was brilliant in a very contrived theatrical con-artist manner. She just needed a blue dress, Toto, and some munchkins. She totally went Judy Garland in her pleadings of “i wanna go home!”

I can see why they wouldn’t bother to check if they knew in advance what they would find.
