I have to say, I run on the “matronly side” but for heaven’s sake, Mikulski looks like a backyard gnome.

That idiot reporter on FNC, James Rosen, called Bill Clinton the “architect of welfare reform.”. Liars. The GOP better not let them re-write history on this. Clinton vetoed the GOP Welfare Reform bill twice before signing it! The reporter said, “Romney is going to get rebuked on his welfare ad by the architect of the bill.”

You're absolutely right!

Clinton should be and deserves to be a disgraced former president!

Found it.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/09/05/federal-judge-oks-arizona-immigration-law-section-allowing-police-to-question/?intcmp=trending

PHOENIX – A federal judge ruled Wednesday that Arizona authorities can enforce the most contentious section of the state’s immigration law, which critics have dubbed the “show me your papers” provision.

The ruling by U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton clears the way for police to carry out the 2010 law’s requirement that officers, while enforcing other laws, question the immigration status of those they suspect are in the country illegally.

The requirement has been at the center of a two-year legal battle that culminated in a U.S. Supreme Court decision in June upholding the requirement.

Opponents then asked Bolton to block the requirement, arguing that it would lead to systematic racial profiling and unreasonably long detentions of Latinos if it’s enforced.

Now back to the entertainment of the evening...blech

Arab American Institute Statement on DNC Platform Amendment on Jerusalem:

“Today’s amendment to re-insert the language on Jerusalem was a clear case of putting pandering above responsible politics. Not only is this change a knee-jerk reaction to baseless accusations from the far-right that the Democratic Party has “thrown Israel under the bus,” it also flies in the face of decades of policy and the positions of President Obama, international peacemakers, and the American public at-large. Worse still, the vote was clearly forced through the delegation, despite considerable opposition on the floor. AAI is disappointed by the inclusion of the amendment, but is also proud of the many delegates – including a record breaking 55 Arab Americans represented this year at the convention – for voting against the amendment, supporting the president and fighting for progress in achieving a lasting peace for Israel and Palestine. AAI President Jim Zogby stated, “Having been through these battles many times, I am disappointed in the irregularities of the procedure. This effort hurts the president and it hurts chances for a lasting peace. I am, however, proud that so many delegates delivered a resounding no.”
