FAA officials accused of pressuring staff to vote for Obama

A government accountability group is accusing supervisors at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of urging the agency's employees to vote for President Obama and other Democrats in November.

The Washington, D.C.-based Cause of Action, which identifies itself as nonpartisan, said Wednesday that FAA officials at a Seattle office told employees that the agency’s funding would be more secure if Obama defeats Mitt Romney to win a second term.

The allegation, if true, would be a violation of the Hatch Act, a federal law that prohibits government agencies from getting involved in partisan activities.

That is the truth. If Obama is re-elected the govt WILL continue to spend out of control, more so than Romney.

What is untold is that the traveling customer base will dwindle and the FAA will have to layoff workers. A total collapse is possible and pensions are in jeopardy as well.

[Somebody needs to be in jail. This is still America. You can’t do that kind of crap here.]

it is? Sure doesn’t seem like it to me. And you can do that kind of thing here under the politicized Holder inJustice Dept. and with the Pravda media covering for you.

Sad, but true.

Maybe alot of us need some new friends.

I noticed when Bill Clinton was impeached that I had alot of aquaintenances that I didn’t know enough about. I dropped them. We didn’t agree on much of anything at all politically.

Now, with Obama, I am scrutinizing VERY strongly every person I already know & even more so for any new aquaintenances I might meet.

There is going to be trouble. I need to know NOW who is trustworty.

At this point in history, it would make sense to simply strip government employees of voting rights, based on obvious conflict of interest.

They constitute nothing more then a self appointed modern day feudal aristocracy, extorting more and more from the populace they rule over.

The U.S. was founded with the intent to reject feudalism. But as always, it creeps back in as the people in any government come to see themselves as above those they supposedly serve in this country.

I would argue that government employees should not be able to vote in elections where the offices in question are in the direct financial self interest of those employees. Federal employees can not vote for federal level candidates, but could vote for state & local. Likewise state employees could vote for Federal & local candidates but not state. Local government employees could not vote for local offices but could in state & federal.

Of course its not so simple, ‘What about the military?’,’ Federal LEOs or others who go in harms way for the federal interest’? (Similar question at the state & local level.)
