With all the foreclosed houses on the market I’m surprised new houses are being built at all.
I would think that the home building industry would be one of the last tradecrafts to emerge out of the Obama depression.
As the story says, these workers haven’t been sitting by the phone since 2008 waiting for a call
They’ve moved on, to a million different things. Some of the illegals have headed back home, some of the USA folks got different jobs, some are on SSI, etc.
In 2009 you could get any tradesman you needed in 24 hours.
Not really the case now.
