New Britain [CT] Prepares To OK Carrying Concealed Pistols

NEW BRITAIN — — The city appears close to ending its status as the only Connecticut community where gun owners are required to carry their weapons openly.

A council committee on Wednesday night voted unanimously to endorse changing local ordinances to let anyone with a permit carry a concealed handgun.

New Britain currently bars gun owners from carrying their weapons under a jacket, in a purse, behind a coat or otherwise concealed.

Yet, knives, razors, brass knuckles and other weapons must be carried openly.

How do you carry razors and brass knuckles openly without "brandishing"?
Knives have sheaths which serves the same function as holsters do for guns, but what do they use for razors and brass knuckles?
