CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A spokesman for the Secret Service told The Daily Caller that the agency is aware of video showing a delegate at the Democratic National Convention expressing a desire to “kill” Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
“We are aware of it,” Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie told TheDC on Thursday.
He said the department is “taking the appropriate follow-up steps” with the woman.
Video surfaced on Wednesday of a woman identifying herself as New York delegate Julia Rodriguez telling The Blaze, “If I see him” — in reference to Romney — “I would like to kill him.”
In the video, Rodriguez says she’s from Puerto Rico but she now lives in New York. She expressed her desire to kill the Republican nominee after saying “Romney will destroy this country.” (SEE ALSO: Puerto Rico’s governor: Romney ‘looked me in the eye,’ promised statehood)
The Daily Caller couldn’t immediately reach a spokesman with the New York Democratic Party.
This is an uneducated, pitiful woman. I would hardly classify her as a national security threat- just an “unwise latina”...
Then they’re going to need a team to investigate a great many of the DNC delegates.
In that bunch I’ve seen implications of IRA, FALN, South American, European, African, and Asian terrorist presence. Nothing much would surprise me. That doesn’t even touch on the U. S. Labor unions.

Even tho she looked very well fed, I thought she was going to eat the microphone.
Zero’s Zombiesm as they gaze in rapture aat the speakers spewing lie after lie, are not only pathetic, they are lethal to the futaure of our blessed country.
This convention just gets better and better. No God, no Jerusalem, death threats, Sandra Fluke making a speech that made my Democrat Aunt say “WTF is she talking about?? She’s crazy! Forget it, I’ve had it with this party!” YES! KEEP IT COMING!

Sure. That's why she's wearing a button that reads "Puerto Rico -> 51 Estado USA."
I don't get how her ethnicity is supposed to define her -- how she's supposed to be Puerto Rican and nothing more, or representative of all Puerto Ricans.
Does your skin color or ancestry define you?
Sure seemed like the ‘floor’ was occupied by the more ‘diverse’ of the delegates, during the vote and these interviews.
Perhaps because the more local delegates knew the town well enough to go ‘out’ and enjoy themselves. The ‘crowd’ on the floor during the vote was pretty ‘’’thin’’’.
Maybe the Campaign staff thought that during the lull was the best time to have the DO-OVER.
Whether their plan was to depend on the ignorance or willingness, or unfamiliarity with the English Language of the group that was left during the vote, I think it should be remembered as the day the Democrat Party Leaders publicly demonstrated that they CHEAT even their own ‘constituents’.
So what does that mean...add a rudder?
This is why Puerto Rico needs to be independent.
That is ALL that defines liberals, period.
You are NOT AN INDIVIDUAL.
You are part of SOME GROUP or COLLECTIVE.
The INDIVIDUAL does not have ANY RIGHTS in their view, ONLY THOSE RIGHTS GIVEN BY GOVERNMENT to the Group...........
Today they are both loose because of lax federal laws. This old lady at the convention may well be no more dangerous than these two but that does not mean she isn't dangerous. The Secret Service had even evaluated Moore earlier and said she was no danger!
We can trade it for Cuba. They would appreciate freedom...............
