CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Hundreds of ticketholders were stranded outside the Democratic National Convention ahead of President Barack Obama's acceptance speech here tonight, after officials said the arena reached capacity and closed the doors.

An official told a crowd outside the arena gate that the local fire marshal apologized and called the situation "embarrassing." The official said the gate would not re-open and that no ticketholders - even delegates and special guests - would be admitted.

They should have kept it at the other site Seems like this was done on purpose and they will spin it that it was sooooooooooooo crowded it was overflow.
I mean rock-hard fail. Dehydrated-rock-hard fail. Fail so failing that it goes way beyond the fail we know into a whole different dimension of fail.
The 2012 DNC is trans-fail failure. Meta-failure. Failure collapsed on itself so far that even the neutrons have collapsed. Fail gotten so dense that no intellect can escape. Singularity fail. Blazing hot mid-day sun on Mercury fail.
The 2012 DNC emits more fail in one second than our entire galaxy emits in a year. Quasar fail. Nothing in our universe can really be this much a failure.
Perhaps this is some primordial fragment from the original big bang of fail. Some pure essence of a fail so uncontaminated by anything else as to be beyond the laws of physics that we know.
“Embarrassing” is having your parents find out that you were at an Obama event.
The DNC knew that some of the 5000 delegates and 15,000 media people would be out scouting free food and partys, so they hired shills to fill the empty seats. Apparently the shills knew how to work the system better.
With an event that has definite ticketed attendees, there is no way the venue could be overcrowded unless they played games with the tickets.
So much for no ticketholder left behind.
They could always sleep in the Occupy America camp for the night.
This happened lastnight too. I actually fell bad for the people Obama harms (though I can’t stand listening to him), including libs.
Lets see, wasn’t Debbie Wassername the head convention organizer and manager puke. If they can’t even hold a convention, why should anyone want them to lead the country. Haven’t seen any weather reports of any thunder storms, tornadoes, or hurricanes hitting the Carolinas this evening.
The bastards can’t even run a convention and they want to run the country. No wonder America is so screwed up right now. Looks who is running it. The freaks.
The ticket holders should look at their tickets, and look at the streets. That’s what they are going to get if Obama wins, ...screwed.
