CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Rep. John Lewis used his Thursday convention speech to argue that a GOP victory in November will send African-Americans back to the early 1960s, when he and other Africans-Americans were forcibly denied access to restaurants, public transportation and the ballot box.
“I’ve seen this before, I lived this before,” he claimed, after extensively describing his activism in Southern states in the 1950 and 1960s.
“We were met by an angry mob that beat us and left us lying in a pool of blood,” he said to raucous applause from roughly 20,000 delegates and activists.
“Brothers and sisters, do you want to go back?” he called, prompted a loud response of “No!”
“Or do you want to keep America moving forward?” he asked Sept. 6 to raucous applause from roughly 20,000 delegates and activists.

In one way I agree with John Lewis, Black racist that he is. American Blacks after November 6, 2012 will have by their very own votes cast, by their own hands, segregated themselves apart from the American Republic and freeedom culture by becoming adrift at sea, without purpose or direction.

It helps that they place a picture of Lewis near stories that report his pronouncements. The guy even looks stupid on top of the look that he just ate something boundlessly unpleasant.

This is crazy. Because John Lewis was beaten up at Selma, and marched for civil rights and voting rights, it’s like we’re supposed to be shocked and awed by anything such a person says. What he says is ridiculous, but because of who he is, we’re supposed to just accept his absurd prediction of how dangerous a Romney victory would be.

On a positive note, rather than have whites have this shoved down their throats forever, it has now entered the realm of political half-truth and can be dismissed by future whites as such. Young whites no longer need to feel responsible for the lack of assimilation of the war contraband from centuries before they were born; it is simply political grandstanding and racial agitation.

I think the concern is that whites are bled dry by high taxes and unemployment the taxpayers expect the perpetually dependent portion of blacks to grow up; that is simply not going to happen, because liberals have made it illegal to provide a quality public education in black neighborhoods (in the same manner that it was illegal to teach a slave to read & write).

I’m sorry...Lewis is supposed to be one of the heroes of the Civil Rights movement. But due to his penchant for engaging in lies and incendiary rhetoric, I’d have to label him a scoundrel.
Believe me, all those democrats really believe this crap. They can’t think on their own. Liberals in every town in America will repeat what is said on TV that day. Remember “Selected, not elected”? Now they will start repeating the lies that the republicans want to enslave blacks.
