It's not my job to do a radio host's job. He does his thing and I do mine as a member here, including both praising and critiquing many public personalities and the written word.

If you care to discuss the points I put forth in my original post which is a rather mild critique about Rush's lightweight, reactive program today, you can ring my bell any time.

If you just want to continue to niggle at me personally, don't bother.

You have managed to totally obfuscate MinuteGal’s point about Rush not doing his research and thus bloviating for long periods of time today when he really wasn’t prepared for the show. He does that periodically. The discussion isn’t about what MinuteGal should or shouldn’t do on this website; it’s what Rush is doing on his nationally syndicated show.

I love Rush, but sometimes he gets intellectually lazy, and one way you can tell is by listening to the Rush of a good day on air as opposed to a Rush on a bad day. Many days he is brimming with analysis, other days, not so much. Today was a not so much day. He was padding his account, and it was a bad day to do that on, as the day after a Dem convention ends is the perfect day to go on the attack with sharp analysis of what the Dem’s said in their speeches, not to fill a program with a bunch of convention trivia.

MinuteGal is dead on regarding Rush’s lack of sharp analysis today, and however much you may love Rush (as do I, I reiterate), just like any human being, he has his good days and his bad days. Today was not a good day. I’ll listen to Charles Krauthammer tonite on Brett Baier’s show for good analysis, I guess, because I didn’t get what I was expecting from Rush today. Sorry it’s not what you want to hear, but it’s true.

P.S., MinuteGal has contributed extensive analysis, financial support, and commentary over her long participation on FR, as well as poetry, organizing FR trips (as Bahama Mama) and attending FR events for years. I’m glad you are doing your part also, as should we all. It doesn’t change analysis of what Rush does or does not do on his show on a particular day. We don’t shut off our analysis of his show anymore than we shut off our analysis of all subject matter on FR. After all, this is a site to give one’s opinion on all things political and otherwise, and the door doesn’t shut when it comes to the topic of Rush as opposed to any other subject. All is fair game if honestly set forth. Including my critique of you here, lol. Feel free to use your cannon to rebut; it’s a free world, that is unless Obama gets re-elected, horrors.

My point is for Leni, and that's that there's nothing stopping Leni from pointing out what lies the DNC sold in their convention.
But again, I haven't read any long analysis or commentary from her, with extensive detail backing up Leni's work.

That's what I though. You don't have a link, and you haven't the knowledge to make one.
All I see when doing a brief review of MinuteGal's "in forum" link, is comments, and no real detailed analysis on a post of her own; just comments to other people's hard work.
