Just once I'd love for a Republican candidate or otherwise conservative outlet to say, "No. I like this song. I think I'll keep playing it. Thanks for your concern."

All these clowns are the same. They are liberals which means the inability to control ones thoughts and needs. They must have their free sex without consequence, drugs without responsibility and spew their “artistic talent” and they will support their kind politically.

“I went to an REM show once, about 20 years ago. Stipe was so busy talking politics throughout the show that he forgot to be even marginally entertaining.”
‘That's me in the spot-light losing my appeal. Oh no, I've said too much...’

All leftists viscerally know that exposure is defeat.
This is why you’ll never get a leftist to publicly defend socialism as socialism.
Playing “losing my religion” during the Dem convention was highlighting a huge slip that they made that probably cost them the election, and even idiots like this know it.

I couldn’t name one of their songs.

Good, REM sucks, they were always overrated, Stipe is a self loathing yuppie, elite. I’ll never understand why Kurt Cobain thought so much of them. Oh well, Stipe is right at home under the circus tent with the other Democrat freaks, gays of a feather flock together.

After their performance with the re-inclusion of 'G_d' and 'Jerusalem' in the party platform, the music from
The Exorcist" would be more appropriate. These people are possesed.

As you can see, he has such high morals. Fox is complimented by his tizzy fit rejection. Every conservative is. Everyone who is outside the DNC are fortunate not to be associated with this diverse mob of assertive darkness. Socialists have progressed to an ugly hell. And they are so proud of it.
That they targeted God, would be expected for the Democrat Party’s skags. But that they mixed joining the Muslim Brotherhood against the Jooooos in their darkness, should give us the shivers. Being “open” to the darkest of the the spiritual realm as it expresses itself on earth, is not exactly something to celebrate. It’s like a drug addict celebrating hitting the bottom.

I saw them YEARS ago at a frat house kegger (when they were good and just getting started) my date invited me to. Stipe could barely stand up and sing he was so wasted.

I got offered Springsteen tickets for $20.00 this weekend at Wrigley Field, I could just picture him politicking on and on, so I said no thanks. It get’s really annoying when entertainers share their politics.

Just once I'd love for a Republican candidate or otherwise conservative outlet to say, "No. I like this song. I think I'll keep playing it. Thanks for your concern." Actually, this is pretty much what Rush Limbaugh said to Chrissy Hynde. And then he kicked a bunch of money to PETA and Hynde cashed the checks.

Surprised NOT! I have enjoyed their music, and attended about five of their shows over the years, but that is where it stops.
I saw them in Oct. 2004 at LA’s Greek Theater. I had heard that during earlier shows on the Tour that Stipe was pulling off his button up Shirt during the encore to reveal a “Vote for Kerry” T-shirt underneath.
Well sure as $hit he did it at our Concert. We were about 10 rows back center stage then that happened. I pulled out my Bush 2004 bumper sticker and held it high. We DEFINITELY made eye contact, he managed to keep his composure....barely. Their original Drummer Bill Berry left during the 90's, after some health issues. He wanted to wind down and become a Gerogia Farmer. I always wondered if he might have been more to the right of center compared to the other three bandmates.
