This is interesting.

I didn’t watch either convention in their entirety. But the parts I did watch, I noticed this.

The Pubs had a good mix of young, well spoken, ethnically mixed “up and coming” politicians.

Yeah, they threw McCain in the mix..whatever.

The Dems seemed to rely on their “old white guys and gals” with a few young angry non-politicians or “used to be politicians.”

Although the audiences were very different...I can’t help but wonder if the complexion of things might be changing.

Its funny that this article emerged. I was thinking this same thing yesterday - where are the rising stars in the Democratic Party? All they had at the convention were has beens for the most part. And zero said it was like watching b&w tv with the Republicans - no, dear leader - its your party that is in the b&w mode.

There are plenty of young guns rising in the Republican party.
