“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. John 9:3

If there was any question whether the Democrat Party is nothing more than a satanic Godless cult you had to look no farther than their Platform. The Platform for any Party is what the Party stands for and is a structure of its beliefs and ideals. When they denied the Party’s belief in God it was a very loud and public statement they no longer want to be considered a Party that believed in God. This year more than others they have accidentally revealed the truth about their communist anti-God agenda for all of America to see. They are Darwinists who believe in government as their ultimate God while they worship at the altar of abortion as their Holiest Sacrament and moral relativism is their path.

Many have been pointing out liberalism is nothing more than an atheistic socialist cult which people have to live their lives according to its tenants which are far removed from Christianity. It has forced their believers to move farther and farther away from the Bible in their acceptance of social justice and tolerance. Unlike Christianity which teaches you to love the sinner but hate the sin, liberalism says you must also love the sin or tolerate it and often sanctify it. As in abortion you must not only love the girl who is having the abortion but you must also accept the abortion as well as pay for it no matter what your religious beliefs. This makes abortion more sacred than your right of religious belief. Not only will you pay for it but the church must be forced by the State to perform abortions as will doctors who have a moral objection to the killing of babies. There is no longer Freedom of Religion due to the Democrat cult of tolerance.

Tolerance is the highest tenant of liberalism and its greatest sin is intolerance which puts the DNC directly at odds with the church just as the Soviet Union and Germany’s were. It is necessary for the church and pastors to get out of the way and force their parishioners to accept the cult’s demands and ignore the teachings of the Bible. The cult is tolerant of every social and sexual perversion under the sun except for disagreement with their world view. This is at the heart of their anti-God Platform as well as denying Israel a capital. America and Israel are God centered countries that will not bow to their overreaching gummit or the sins that are inherent in their beliefs.

Now they have laid all of their cards on the table and saying if they are elected they do not want America a God centered country. They want an atheistic secular country that will keep the one true God bowing down to their gods and religion. They will worship at the altar of abortion and soon under DeathCare, eugenics. They believe through Darwinism they are the highest form of being so they will decide who lives and dies for the greater good of society. They will decide which Americans are worth saving and which are not. They still seem to be wavering on that killing all the Jews thing but are right on schedule with the infirmed. We are watching a party exposing itself as the same humanistic cults we saw come to power in the 1930s and 40s with all of their followers worshiping a godlike leader into a new form of evolutionary selection to make a more perfect society.

To think we have churches throughout the country and especially the Catholic Church falling for a perversion of their religion under the guise of Social Justice. They are willing to ignore the most basic Commandments of Though Shalt not kill or Thou Shalt not Envy for the commie candy of Economic Equality. They pretend poverty will be cured if you will turn your lives over to an equalizing State, but who determines what is Justice or Equality? Who says there is no happiness in poverty? There are millions of poor people who are living solid lives and have great families without money. Right now we have people like Nazi Pelosi who is worth over $100 Million in corruption deciding who gets to keep what. How can you trust a corrupt bureaucracy to decide what is fair and what is not? Just like their deciding what the church can and can’t teach how are they going to decide who is and isn’t able to keep their earnings?

Many Churches and the entire Democrat Party have given their souls over to a cult that will destroy them. Just as we saw them make a cynical stand against God and then cower at the revolt of the American people, they are chasing an empty religion which only leads to one place. It will lead to death and emptiness followed by a Judgment by the one true God. There is no purpose or structure with their religion only personal destruction which is masked by social morality. You can live any sort of perverted lifestyle as long as you plant a tree or hug a whale and buy a Chevy Dolt. As long as you are a good tolerant liberal you are able to destroy your or anybody else’s life without persecution. This of course leads to all types of guilt and addictions since this cult has no real meaning leaving you empty and hopeless.

This is exactly where the Commie Convention wants to take you as they arrogantly told America they don’t believe in God and neither can you. It needs to eliminate God to complete their Utopian grand plan. This is the final step for their New World which is actually so new Abraham fought against it. It is so cutting edge we have seen it over and over again in Russia, Germany, Italy, China, Japan, Korea, Cuba, Cambodia, Vietnam and every other atheistic state. Only in America have we had a two century experiment of man worshiping God and the free choice it represents with free market abundance.

We have a clear choice between God and evil. This battle has been going on since the beginning of time and now we are seeing it clearly in the Democrat Platform. Sure they shoved through a band-aid against the will of the cult, but we know what these people truly believe. They hate God and Israel and were very transparent about it. You have to choose this election if you would rather be ruled by a Godless cult or continue to be the one country under a Christian God. They are now in the open if you are an atheist who hates Israel and America they have a Party Platform for you. If you believe in God, America and Israel’s right to existence you have to vote against their Godless cult.

Pray for America

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

Great post. The regime has figured out that if they want to get things done that don't poll well like hating God,they have to do it at midnight.

Enter midnight legislation. It always works well for the Godless regime until they get caught, then not so well. Even worse if the DBM accidentally chats about it.They had a really hard time covering up the "No's" on the third time around at the DNC "corn"vention. But in the final analysis its all socialism all the time for the modern day Demoncrat party. They just hate to admit it.

Enter midnight legislation.

The 'other side' has used that tactic too. That is how we got the Medicare Prescription Drug coverage. Hastert called for a 15-minute vote. He fell short of the number needed to pass. He extended the vote -- again and again and again, for almost 3 hours of backroom arm twisting.

The bill finally passed at about 4:00 a.m. I remember sitting here on FR all night as that lesson in democracy took place.

Also recall that the Pubbies locked the Dems out of the bill creation process, but they did invite in various insurance company concerns.

Morning AB, All.

Been up since 7 am here on the east coast deep in the swamps of Delaware.

Cold front came in last night and outside is nice.

Liberal mother-in-law visiting next week from Massachusetts. Wish me luck. More on that later.

I’ve started a slow cooker of chili, fried up some perogis, emptied the cat litter pans, emptied the dishwasher, refilled the dishwasher, fed the cat who was on his last legs as he pulled himself along by his paws awaiting sustenance that he may live another day.

Really enjoyed the Democratic conventions last week. Church had an antique car show yesterday. I worked the crowd, talked politics, made a pineapple upside down cake for the bake sale and guess what I saw?

A CORVAIR!!!

Heh.

I had one of them when I was 19 years old, my very first car. I put psychadelic pink flower power stickers all over it. Its engine was in the rear, y’all might know, and it killed people sometimes.

Anyway, thanks AB for doing this thread every week.

Below my post on the Delaware board about the Democratic convention is anyone should be interested.

All those Democrats booing GOD. What a sound byte. What a sight byte.

If I was a Republican I’d have an ad already in the can with it documented along with text to the effect...

“This is what the Democratic party thinks of God”.

Then I’d show Mayor of LA doing his parliamentarian duties and I’d have a background voice say, to the effect...

“This is what the Democratic party thinks of democracy.”

ABC with George S. - showed Gabby Giffords leading the pledge (that and the prayer by the Cardinal at the end were the only worthwhile parts of this convention, IMO)

George Will - everyone except the State Dept knows the capitol of Israel is Jerusalem.

Gokie - job numbers don’t mean anything this election. The DNC focussed on women, minorities, gays, immigration, etc. (their base) Republicans have made a tremondous mistake by focusing on the economy. (??????)
does admit this convention was over the top focussing on abortion.

Rand Paul - images worth a thousand words - images of booing God were worth a lot.

Cory Booker - God/Jerusalem it was just a little bit of the platform (lol) Tries to claim it was an error of ommission. obama saved the day demanding they be put back in. Cory says DNC wasn’t all about abortion (he didn’t talk about it), it was about family planning.

ABC, Cokie - in response to a Romney ad on the economy says Ohio is actually better off economically now. Says Republicans have made a huge mistake again ith immigration and voting rights because they have lost Republicans for a generation.

George Will somewhat agrees that Hispanics sense hostility from Repubs because they have focussed so much on immigration/fence/etc.

I’m REALLY confused. Maybe someone here at the reliable Sunday Talk Show thread can help me.

Friday it was reported that about 96,000 “new jobs” were added, lower than “expected.” It was also reported that about 400,000 people “dropped out of the workforce.” Thus, while fewer people went to work, the “unemployment rate” improved by .2 points. Wow.

First: what is a “new job?” Is it something that didn’t exist, like the 13th job at a company that formerly only had 12—Or is it that Joe down the street, who was out of work, finally found a job?

But if it’s job #13 does it have to be filled yet to count in the stats? Or can it just exist as an unfilled want-ad, “Desperately Seeking Susan” or like that?

What is a new job? Who has one? Does anyone HAVE to have it? (Could maybe I still get it?)

O.K. Let’s move on to the REALLY MYSTERIOUS thing here.

It seems that every month hundreds of thousands of Americans “drop out of the workforce.” I think I heard that 4 million have done it since whenever.

But what does this actually mean? Who are these people, where are they, what do they do now. I have many questions about those who “drop out of the workforce.”

1. Were these people in the “workforce” because they were working? Don’t their employers need to replace them? If a guy is managing a parking garage and one night says, “The hell with this, I’m dropping out of the workforce,” doesn’t his employer need to replace him? If he replaces him, why does any of it count one way or the other in the “unemployment rate.” Somebody else gets a job if someone “drops out of workforce,” right? Or do they just not hire another manager at all and let everyone park for free at the garage because Bill “dropped out of the workforce?”

2. Can you be in the workforce but not have a job? If you don’t have a job, what makes you part of the “workforce” in the first place? If you already don’t have a job, what difference does it make that you have “dropped out of the workforce?” You weren’t really working in the workforce anyway.

3. Has the media ever identified a person who “dropped out of the workforce?” (Would there be a better chance of such a person being found by the media if Romney was elected? Like how all the “homeless” showed up the minute after Reagan swore the oath.)

Again—there are something like 4 million people who have “dropped out of the workforce.” How many have the media found? Are they all camera shy?

Do you personally know anyone who “dropped out of the workforce?” Was there cake and ice cream to celebrate? Do you get a gold watch that doesn’t run for “dropping out of the workforce?”

4. Um.... I dunno. I’m not even sure I know what the “workforce” is. And that makes me wonder what it is that people do when they “drop out” of it. As near as I can tell, they disappear — like people did back in the Soviet Union. Poof! There one minute, gone the next.

5. What about the raw numbers here? The media says that 96,000 new jobs created by the African-American president is still nonetheless a good thing. That’s about 2,000 jobs per state if you think of all the states equally (no one does that anymore because the states are just basically racist entities that don’t matter in comparison to what Van Jones thinks but I digress).

Anyway these numbers seem to mean that something like 9,000 people just dropped out of the workforce in the same state where 2,000 new jobs were added. The media doesn’t seem to think 9,000 is MORE THAN 2,000, because these “dropouts” are...I dunno...not important enough to even GO FIND THEM.

And if 9 people are dropping out for every 2 new jobs, how is anyone getting employed at all?

OK Well... If one thing is clear here, it is that I’m utterly confused about all this. If anyone can help me, I’d appreciate. If I’ve made someone else so exasperated that I compelled them to drop out of the Sunday thread I’m really sorry about that but don’t expect the media to come looking for you in any case.

Like Timothy Leary once said, “Tune in, turn on, drop out, vanish altogether.”

ABC, talking about whether the conventions should continue. are they necessary anymore. Paul Krugman says yes, informative.

Will - get rid of govt funding.

Rand Paul - agrees with Will, we should get rid of public funding of campaign conventions - also suggests that Congress should hold a debate once a week; make it mandatory so that a real exchange of ideas occurs vs. individual speakers getting up and stating their positions.

I just read your review of 2016 and agree 100%. My wife and I saw the movie here about 10 days ago. My wife was so upset after seeing it, she didn't sleep well that night.

You know the old saying "Be careful what you wish for". As you can see by my screen name I dreaded even the thought of Hillary Clinton ever being President. As the 2008 Democratic primary developed, I found myself fascinated and fully relieved she didn't get the nomination. I never dreamed we would be where we are today. Although I could still never ever support her, I think had she been nominated and elected, we would be far better off than we are today. I fear we will be a near dictatorship by 2016 if O is re-elected.

Goolsby vs. Glen Hubbard on the economy on FOX.
Americans in labor force 63.5%.

Goolsbee - shouldn’t take one month’s report. If you look at the whole year, unemployment is down 1%. Some people are retiring, some are choosing to go to school. (I guess the fact that the percentage of Americans in the labor force is at its lowest point ever doesn’t matter ???)

Hubbard - most economists think fundamental tax reform that they’ve suggested will help stimulate the economy in a weak growth economy. (this guy needs more details in his presentation.)

Goolsbee - makes fun of Romney’s horse being a business. Wallace reminds him that obama said it wouldn’t be wise to raise taxes on the wealthy in a weak growth environment...we are in a worse economic environment now than when obama said that (jan, 2010). Goolsbee said it was because the unemployment rate was a full 2 points higher - that’s why the president said that. Wallace reminds Goolsbee the economy growth is even weaker today.

Hubbard says Romney is talking about tax reform not focussin on tax cuts. (??)

no president could have done better than Obama..”economists agree...”

*****

This is the same argument by which democrats keep getting elected to municipal positions as their cities deteriorate.

When the cities continue downward economically: No one could do it better. We [dems] really care, and we are doing the best that anyone could FOR YOU.

When a local government becomes run by a Republican administration, and the economic trend improves, the dems say: Anyone could have done what this administration is doing.

They NEVER take responsibility for any failure!

Uhhh.. not exactly.
Seems Jimmy Carter started the Community Reinvestment act in 1977 but it didn’t quite get the job done.
So in response to a law suit by obama on behalf of blacks in 95 Bubba started the ball rolling so that if banks didn’t lend to blacks and others they would pay a price.
Later on Barney Frank and Raines and others refined it even more so if you were alive and could sing your name you got a loan.
After all the govt. backed the banks and they paid the loans when the losers went bankrupt.
We all know how that worked out.
Seems David axelrot was slick enough to place the blame on us namely GW “since his dem congress had nothing at all to do with it” and we have never countered until now.

IT was bad enough that ozero did nada to solve the problem but if it turns out that the dems were to blame as well instead of GW,NOv. takes on a whole new look.

It is very sad. I cannot fathom the voting public that thinks obama deserved a bump from the program the DNC offered. The only positive spin I can put on it, is that the bump came from people who only watched Michelle and Clinton’s speeches and fell for them. I don’t know.

You’ll have to get Kabar to help you with this.

Cause the Democrats tell lies so much to try and make sense out of them is a waste of precious time.

I used to do payroll and do you know where they get the vast amount of their “on the payroll” and “off the payroll” from?

They get their data mostly from ADP, the great big outsource payroll processor.

Now I’ve used ADP plenty of times and yes, you mark an employee terminated when they leave and you add employees when they...eh, are hired.

The net of all this is the number net new jobs that is part of the jobs statistics and I really wonder how close it is.

But ADP is the country’s largest payroll processor and I’ll allow that the net job gain/loss in a given month is an indicator of how the jobs are going. As a sample size of the country it’s probably close to accurate.

I’ll never understand where they get this “dropped out of the job force number” from, though I know a whole lot of people that would meet that criteria.

Many of the constructions guys are working under the table. A lot of folks have applied for SS disability rather than to continue fighting younger and healthier for the few jobs available. This is just my anecdotal experience bear in mind. My nieces boyfriend, for example, has some kind of major pain problem and has had it for many years. I’m not clear on it but it’s a health issue he’s been battling for many years. When he lost his job he threw down the gauntlet and applied for SS, which he asserts he could have received many moons ago.

I know a few people who’ve fallen into this category...loss of a job impels them to finally apply for SS disability that they might have eschewed during an earlier time when jobs were plentiful.

These types would certainly qualify as folks who dropped out of the job market but I’ve no idea how they measure that number.

I believe it though.

The Lamestream is hopping all over the place as they seem to think Obamer got a bump in the polls after last week’s convention.

Maybe he did.

So what?

It’ll die out, he’ll do something stupid.

He’s not going to win this election.

I really believe that.

People collecting UI have to claim that they are actively ‘looking for work.’ When the benefit checks end, voila’ -— they are no longer ‘looking for work.’

Huge numbers of people have gotten to the end of their benefit period as each month of this “recovery” pass.
