You're on to something here, Sara. Prior to my wife, I would often call off work, drink a lot on the weekends, spend more time on my computer than dating socially. Once my wife and I married, I go into work regardless of how I feel and quit a dead-end job to find a job that pays me 40% more than my last. I def. feel like I'm doing it for her more than myself.
