So you agree with me that we need BIGGER numbers then. This is a fight worth fighting.

True, we can always “Harriet Miers” Romney if he decides to get too cute.

Romney makes decision based on the given tide. He wants to be liked by everyone and thus becomes submissive. That is not the definition of a leader. May God help us.

He has a submissive, pleading tone when he speaks that drives me crazy.

Agree with your analysis, still it’s hard for any leader to emerge when they will immediately be branded as “racist” or “heartless”. It’s not an environment that rewards honesty or clarity.

Since the Primaries are over, you either Vote for the (R) or for the (D). If you Vote for anyone but the (R), you give the Election to the (D). In a word, twaddle. I'm not voting for Zero -- so by your logic, does that mean I'm really supporting Romney?

This is not a Republican website. It's a conservative website. I vote for conservatives. Exclusively.

“This is not a Republican website. It's a conservative website.”

Right now this website supports Romney and that makes it Republican until the election is over or until the GOPe nominate another RINO and that one is accepted.

There is not a Conservative party so I don't care what the R or D party does. Best thing to do is store water and food to protect yourself from both parties.

Good for you.

I was just stating a fact, not trying to change your mind.

Have a wonderful rest of your day.

Well said. The major parties have nominated liberals with one pretending to be something he's not. We're pretty much on our own.

Well, Colonel, you and I think alike. I’m thinking survival and wish you lived closer. I don’t know where you are, but still wish you were closer. I think the same about Johnny. He’s about three/four hours away from me.

-— Did anyone happen to notice that this article is from the AUSTIN STATESMAN that is very democrat and left leaning? -—

It’s an AP story, but you still could be right. The stuff between the quotation marks is pretty damning, though.

I am trying to make a Gif out of this clip but Gifsoup.com is giving me trouble.

I would say betrayal, but he has never been our side.

Yes, but part of the reason that they are skyrocketing is because of health insurance. If everyone paid cash or could only afford by paying cash or layaway, the prices for medical treatment would fall overnight.

I agree. But as far as I can tell, it's politically impossible to get there in one leap. We need a transitional plan. We need to adopt an incrementalist approach, like the Left.

Meanwhile, we need to take control of the cultural channels (schools, media, entertainment) to educate the public. Politicians won't do it, because they can't.

Solution! Rand Paul proposes 40-year, rising deductible, term healthcare policies for 20-somethings.

Actuarial consultants estimate an annual premium of $3k/year until age 65! And the policy would be portable.

This is the kind of liberal Establishment RINOism that loses elections.

Remember, during the primaries, Romney supporter Pam Bondi (who as Florida AG led the lawsuit against the unconstitutional Obamacare bill) said that they intended to repeal Obamacare and help establish Romneycare in every state.

Romneycare essentially IS Obamacare.

As for myself, I’d repeal it all — except for the provision that says the mandate may not be considered a tax.
