I beg to differ. I think Romney has a very good chance in WI, if we can keep voter fraud under control That is a big if, to be sure. Paul Ryan, his running mate, is very popular here. Don’t discount that.
I would agree with you if the ad buy was in CA. I spent 6 weeks in 3 trips this summer in CA (my native state)handling my mother’s affairs and moving her into assisted living. Any ad buy by the Republicans is a waste of money in CA. When will the people wake up?
I was born and raised in the Central Valley and went to college at UC Berkeley. I became a Republican when I discovered there was nobody to vote for on the Dem Primary ballot. I’ve always said that Central Valley Dems were a lot like the Southern US Dems in my youth — rather conservative. But, Bay Area Dems were all Communists.
That’s how I became a Republican. I’ve never looked back. I always say that I voted for Ronald Reagan more times than anyone else in the country: 4 times for Gov (counting the Primaries), and 5 times for President. I proudly supported Reagan in the Primary when he ran against Ford; and when we lived in TX, I supported him over HW Bush and John Connelly in the Primary, much to the consternation of some of the members of our local Republican Women’s Club.
Funny thing about Reagan in CA. Nobody ever would admit that they voted for him, but he always won by a landslide! I hope Romney carries that same magic.
I think R&R have a good chance of winning our state too.
Game on, socialists.
We beat them bigtime in 2010, then retained our Gov in the June recall.
How sweet it would be to take our state from the Obamabots.
