Romney raised record $111.6 million in August

Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign announced early Monday that it raised $111.6 million during the month of August, its single best month of the campaign and the third straight month it has raked in more than $100 million.

President Obama’s campaign has not announced its August fundraising totals yet, but he has been significantly outraised by Romney over the last two months.

Obama raised 114 million in August. So I’d call that a stand still.

Yes only $2.4 million difference in fund raising for the month. Romney since April has raised more money than Obama. Obama has spent and spent so I don't think he has much in the tank. However, the R/R campaign raised $101.3 million in July and $106.1 million in June, and they reported to have $168.5 million on hand.

Why don’t the few conservative reporters on TV just keep talking about all of the lies said at the DNC convention. That would be supportative.

Great....he’s got the cash, but he’s not getting the message out and frankly, there’s too many Americans that are counting on the Obama-Govt handouts, and there’s enough misguided Democrats that love drinking the liberal kool-aid... by any measure of intelligence, Romney should be leading in every poll and be in the 60% neighborhood... the fact that its close with BO leading in too many of the pols doesn’t bode well for the Republicans. I don’t think half the country is stupid, its close tho....but I do think that more half this country doesn’t really give a $hit.

Do not bother with FOXNEWS, I was an addict until I realized how bad they actually are. O’Reilly bleats, Hanity screeches and Shep is gay. I do like Greta but only because she is a Packer Fan. I see my wife get so angry when she watches FOX, that is what they are trying to elicit from viewers, emotion. Life is to short, to be angry over Hannity or some snarky pundit like Juan Williams. I heard this touted over and over on FNC this afternoon. I thought that they said $113,000,000.

It is important in 2012 to remember 9/11 because our younger generations are the most in danger of forgetting what really happened- or worse, our younger generations are susceptible to getting a politically correct view of 9/11. Many on the Left have tried to turn 9/11 into a “day of national service” or a celebration of tolerance, instead of remembering that radical jihad attacked this nation because of our western values.
