Hey on the other hand if they can’t get here and the pressure builds up there then maybe things wil change. So long as they can run here nothing will change there and we will become more like them.
I do understand your statement but i suspect nothing will change there unless there’s a catalyst.

Try raising a family with no money in downtown Mexico Any City with an overwhelming illegal population; try living in fear that it will be your daughter that is kidnapped next; try being afraid to walk down the street or say hello to a stranger; try watching your lifes work go up in smoke because your government expropriated your business and then ran it too the ground.

Rush seriously warned today about unchecked immigration contributing to the massive economic/social collapse ahead if Obama is re-elected.
Even many conservatives don't realize the extent of the problem and won't bring it up in the presence of voting friends, neighbors and relatives for fear of being thought of as racists.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said in his Democratic National Convention speech that immigrants would find life so intolerable under a Mitt Romney administration that they would, self-deport. Why did the Dems let somebody come to their convention and campaign for Romney?

Villaraigosa was the flailing, confused chairman who called for the votes to let God and Jerusalem back into the Democrat Party. He is seen as a rising star in the party. I have said elsewhere that, at our house, he is El Burrito--the little burro. I think that can also be translated as the little ass.

I’m more worried about those Castro brothers (and I don’t mean Fidel and Raul, although politically they are very close).

“L.A. Mayor: Immigrants would Self-Deport if Romney Elected”
Great, but did the mayor say he would hold his breath?
To: nhwingut
Well shucks, if all it would take for mass self deportation is for Romney to win let me vote for him now.

Thanks to Obama helping to get all those so called "Innocent Children" of Illegal parents registered for temporary status, we now know where the illegal parants are for the most part....
.....so they had better self-deport, if Romney is elected or he might send the Border patrol to all those addresses.

Sounds like a win-win proposition to me:
A) The illegal aliens are gone.
B) It doesn't cost us anything to get rid of them.
So, that's a problem?? To me, it isn't at all.

Rush seriously warned today about unchecked immigration For years our blowhard right-wing buddy was telling us that " .... illegal immigration was the sign of a healthy economy ... the Mexicans were doing, etc. ad naus ..." In short, he was parroting the US Chamber of Commerce line at the time when the Pubbies were all for the cheap labor, despite the screams of anguish coming from their constituents. Glad he got the message a year or so ago. But a little late for the change of heart.
If the southern border were to be closed 15 minutes from now, The US will still become a majority Latino country by 2120, instead of by 2100, when Latinos will outnumber both black and European-descended Americans combined. FYI, they already far outnumber blacks, to which fact the Congressional Black Caucus might wake up any day now. ¿Quizás no hubiera algo qué no entenderías, gringo?
Long term, the only question is are we going to be more like Bolivia, or Chile?
