R&R are also spending a lot of money on GOTV efforts. This past weekend, they hit 20 million voters. I think they have done this several weekends already. Right or wrong, I think they are taking a different approach than over saturation of advertising. People turn it off after a couple dozens ads, even if you agree with the ad. We know there are millions of conservative and evangelicals who didn’t vote in 2008. Enough to have won it for McCain/Palin, and enough to put Romney over the top.

Regardless of what we think of Romney, he is very very bright. R&R are taking a different approach. Time will tell if it is successful.

Interesting info. I agree on the tv ads. I actually would like to see them do more web ads...the display ads I see everywhere for Obama are BS, but probably effective at impacting opinion. I would love to see more of it. We have so much info on our side, and it is too expensive to buy tv ad time for all of it. We have to tie the crappy economy to Obama policies. It is easy...and it was all predicted by conservatives.
