What people have not been talking about enough is that the Ryan budget contains an $897 billion sinkhole: massive but unexplained cuts in such discretionary domestic programs as education, food and drug inspection, workplace safety, environmental protection and law enforcement.

Edsall the clown apparently doesn’t realize the federal government currently spends about $1T more than it takes in...and a “$897B sinkhole” isn’t enough to fill that....
Edsall offers no solutions, and Obama doesn’t either.

Obama’s last budget was voted down 99-0 in the senate. He couldn’t even get a single Democrat to vote for it.
Obama doesn’t have a budget.
Obama has never passed a budget and the last one he presented to the Senate could not even garner one Democrat vote.
That is horrible -- horrible that it isn't a couple trillion of cuts over 10 years instead of a paltry $879 million.
I have absolutely no doubt that the economy could take a cut of $500 million in domestic spending THIS YEAR ALONE and it would have no impact.
Government spending does not equal economic growth.

These liberals and RINOS are SIMPLY ARE AFRAID of a canidiate, Ryan who is not afraid to make the tough decisions.
