Talks broke down between the Chicago Teachers Union and the public school board on Sunday night, heralding in the city's first strike in 25 years.

Nothing proves better than this photo why teachers of today are neither genetically nor culturally related to teachers of the past. Sometimes I wonder if they're more simian than human, as the above photo demonstrates. FUGLY about sums it up.

Thomas Sowell proved that today's public school teachers come from the bottom 20% of the pool of college graduates. Seems to me they come from the reject wards at state hospitals and possibly some veterinarian hospitals as well.

I think all school boards should wear bright yellow t-shirts with the words “We’re interested in the children” on them. Boy, would the teachers be mad that someone else can look like a soccer team with matching t-shirts. So much for professionalism.
