People on this thread have an overwhelmingly negative reaction.

Many of the people on this thread will condemn anything and everything Romney does. He visited Isreal to show support and they still condemned him for it.

One of two men will be the next President. Will the country survive 4 more years of BO?

Is anybody from the “actual political right” making any kind of contact with Mitt Romney? Mitt is doing all that he can do to lose! If, only, Tom Hoefling could get THE MAJORITY OF VOTERS to, actually, vote for Tom Hoefling, instead!

“The people complaining the loudest about where Romney chooses to speak probably never intended to vote for him anyway.”

I’m glad you inserted the weasal word “probably” or your statement would have been a very bad generalization.

"It is fine to vote for the guy but to put him on some sick pedestal is so psychotic. I don't get the love of this guy from Romney lovers. I will vote for him, but I be damned if I am going to put him up for Sainthood that some here want me to do. It is not going to happen."

On the last night of the RNC convention, on the live thread, Freepers were weeping over Romney and giggling about their crushes on him. I had to exit when someone actually said that Mitt would be our "King David."

"Levin: “Romney commercials running in Virginia are MUSH.

Hard to know who they’re aimed at.”

I'm in Virginia, and on Friday I kept waiting for that "carpet-bombing", but it failed to materialize. The only Romney ad I've seen is the happy-happy-joy-joy spot with the balloons tumbling down at the convention.

First, I am not a troll..anyone can check...I’ve been around here a long time...but people remember a “House divided cannot stand”...we cannot continue to fight amongst ourselves..we have a choice...the rag-head president we now have, or Romney....I am willing to give Romney a chance...I sure as h*ll don’t want 0sama-obama back...Romney is our candidate...he’s not my first choice, but we have to come together and support him...

I look forward to the day when I meet someone who always speaks in absolute truths on an internet forum.

You ain’t kiddin’!!!

Hey, I could be wrong, but to me it’s a sign that:

1. Clinton is giving open, tacit approval of GLOVE
2. Romney is going for the mushy Clintonites
3. Soetoro had to (once again) play “me too” and is going AFTER Glove.

Clinton, for all his faults, doesn’t HATE America like Soetoro does...plus, he’s looking at 2016 for Her Cankleness (I expect her to start undergoing another round of plastic surgeries to look “freshened” for 2016 soon).

“Please stop spewing this MSM drivel and propaganda. He said no such thing. I watched the interview and below is from the MTP transcript. Where the hell do you see anything about Obamacare or the parts that Romney “likes?”

GREGORY: Well, let me ask you about a couple of specific areas. On healthcare, you say that you would rescind the president’s healthcare plan on day one. Does that mean that you’re prepared to say to Americans, young adults and those with pre-existing conditions, that they would no longer be guaranteed healthcare?

MR. ROMNEY: Well, of course not. I say we’re going to replace Obamacare. And I’m replacing it with my own plan. And, you know, even in Massachusetts where I was governor, our plan there deals with pre-existing conditions and with young people. Everybody…

GREGORY: So you’d keep that part of the federal plan?

MR. ROMNEY: Well, I’m not getting rid of all of healthcare reform. Of course, there are a number of things that I like in healthcare reform that I’m going to put in place. One is to make sure that those with pre-existing conditions can get coverage. Two is to assure that the marketplace allows for individuals to have policies that cover their— their family up to whatever age they might like. I also want individuals to be able to buy insurance, health insurance, on their own as opposed to only being able to get it on a tax advantage basis through their company.”

Sorry, but if you don’t see it in the very transcript you posted, you need to work on your reading comprehension. I said “Romney says there’s parts of ObamaCare he likes” and then you posted a transcript showing Romney saying exactly that while claiming he never did!

“MR. ROMNEY: Well, I’m not getting rid of all of healthcare reform. Of course, there are a number of things that I like in healthcare reform that I’m going to put in place. “

“Healthcare reform” in Romney’s words were in response to David Gregory’s questions specifically about the “federal plan”, aka, ObamaCare.

That isn’t MSM drivel and propaganda, that’s 5th grade level reading comprehension!
