[Being conservative, I would speak if I were invited.]

But Romney isn't conservative.

Mitt and Massachusetts were really made for each other:

“...On health care, Romney said Sunday he wants to keep parts of the health care overhaul spearheaded by President Obama. Though Romney vows to repeal the law, he said: “I'm not getting rid of all of health care reform.”

Romney said: “There are a number of things that I like” in the law. The Republican presidential nominee said he wants to make sure people with pre-existing conditions can still have guaranteed coverage. And he said he wants to make sure young people can stay on their parents’ plan “up to whatever age they might like” — currently, that age is 26.”

I agree with everything you said. You are spot on. I have never seen anything like this before. People supposedly hated Romney from 2006 until his coronation and then suddenly he became God's gift. No he is still the same slime ball that he was from the beginning. It just seems that Free Republic has some people that are liberal and now they are free to express themselves without getting into trouble. It is absolutely tragic what these folks are doing. Have a great day!

What bothers me is when folks address Romney weaknesses, and the idiots try to shout them down by calling them names like Obama lover, or turncoat, or a useful idiot.

No, the useful idiot is the one that tries to bludgeon Conservatives so they will either shut up or vote for things we have railed against for decades.

I've concluded they are no different in the worship of their political savior than Ron Paul's Mob Zombies are to their political messiah.

This is definitely the impression the Romney people have left:

It was the same with the Bushbots on FR. The pretzels they would contort themselves into defending his liberal policies with a by product of calling conservative critics names.

These same people will defend Romneys liberal policies the same way. When he announces shamnesty, they will be out in droves listing how we are 'falling for the MSM lies....blah blah..,' while ignoring what he actually said.

When you get right down to to it, when they calls us traitors or DUTrolls, they are implying JimR is one too.

I need to call you out on your lie. He never said he supported most of Obama Care. If you are not sure, there are multiple ways to check before you post and lie.

Sorry, but switching to pure community rating is the single biggest element of ObamaCare -- and what Romney has said he supports. Obama's scheme to avoid price hikes was to force everybody to buy insurance -- the individual and employer mandates. What's Romney's scheme?

We're slicing the baloney awfully thin.

I’ll need anti-nausea medicine and something that causes amnesia afterwards so I will forget about the whole voting thing.

First Romney says there’s parts of ObamaCare he likes and now this? Is he trying to force us to stay home on 11/6?>>>>>>>>No,Romney has nothing but comtempt for Conservatives, he considers us annoying gnats. But thats ok, the romneybots on here will continue to blindly swallow the kool aid.

Not only is Romney not a conservative, but it's increasingly unclear to me whether he's any better than Obama. At least with Obama, Congressional Republicans have something of a backbone. Do you really think Boehner and McConnell will stand up to Romney?>>>>>>>>>>AMEN,AMEN and AMEN. Tell me this Romneybots. Let's look at the debt ceiling. If the Republicans keep the house and take,or even nearly take, the Senate which scenario is most likely? The Republicans block Obama from raising the debt ceiling or the Republicans block Romney from raising the debt ceiling? And don't tell me Romney won't try, we are talking reality, not fantasy. I DONT CARE if Obama beats Romney. Romney is useless to conservatives. Romney can more damage than Obama, who we can fight at every turn. At least then we have a chance of getting a CONSERVATIVE running for the Republicans in '16 rather than a re-elect RINO Romney campaign. The Republicans did this to themselves. I will vote for every conservative on the ballot. I will NOT vote for any liberals, including the guy the Republican Party made the huge mistake of nominating.

Meh.

Romney is a greasy politician with a liberal record who is running as a conservative against a Marxist.

His appearance at CGI doesn't change my opinion of him nor his opponent.

With Obama the Marxist as president, there's a zero percent chance that we will get conservatism.. With Mitt, the greasy politician with a liberal record and a conservative platform, there's a greater than zero percent chance that we will get conservatism.

I do care and hope that Mitt beats Obama the Zero.

The man needs to fire his advisors and start listening to the people on the right who don’t like him. At least we’ll tell him the truth.

I remember reading a piece, a while back, that Mittens had UN lobbyists surrounding him. I with I could recall the article.

Still. Will I hold my nose and “fill in the arrow” to get him elected and Obozo booted? I, once again, have been given no choice. *sigh*

I don’t think Mittens is a Manchurian candidate to the extend Obama is.....that’s for sure.
