TIPP Poll Past Performance

The TIPP Poll was the most accurate presidential poll having come in #1 in both the 2004 and 2008 Presidential elections. An article summarizing the results is available here. The official election results compiled by the Federal Election Commission for 2008 is available here and for 2004 is available here. Readers may note that some analysis of results and pollster performance ranking on the Internet are obsolete because they analyze accuracy based on election night results, which are significantly different from the final results when all votes were counted.

I find the TIPP poll you cite interesting. It is within a half point of my current “reweighted” poll average. Obama + 2.55. If I treat Rasmussen as being unreliable as CNN due to the really odd numbers they have put out since Romney took the lead in their poll, it is +1.84. This is not where one would like to see the GOP at this point. Considering it is coming after a “hidden” GOP convention and a marque ed DIM convention, it is not bad for Romney. Honestly, it looks like all the pollsters in the big groups decided “The convention will benefit Obama by X amount”.

... maybe some poll-faulting going on here?

Maybe these "Conservative" folks are having a little fun with the pollsters?

“.....doctrine of preemptive political surrender?”

I don’t surrender at anything, but if Romney doesn’t get off his dead ass and light this campaign on fire, we will all be wasting our time and stuck with 4 more years of Obama hell.

Propaganda works, that is why the enemy uses it, daily—24/7.

I want Obama and his filthy democrats out of power, so much so that I can no longer find the words to accurately describe my contempt.

Romney simply MUST begin street fighting and exposing Obama for what he really is, while educating the American people of what their futures are going to look like under a Romney administration, or he is not going to win.
