Gingrich was not protected by the people on his side of the party because those same people who tried to take him out as the speaker; wanted him gone to save them political damage for themselves. Hello. All those who would not support him; are big-losers with no backbone. People judged Newt too harshly for his mistakes of his past marriages. Newt could handle the left wingers. He takes no crap because he's spent his life knowing what the leftists are planning. Wake up. We need that fortitude now vs being judgmental. I would vote for Newt in a heartbeat to see him put child Obama in his place.
